“not meeting the expectations...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2014

The Restaurant itself is nicely renovated with a beautifull lemon tree garden attached to it.
The restaurant is supposed to have a good cous cous, wich did not impressed us at all...what really impressed us was the price. We paid 18€ for a portion of fish cous cous with not much fish in it. We didn't get any bread on the table and we had to pay 3€ per person for the "coperto"(service charge). Service was "present" until we place the order and then nobody seemed to care about us anymore. Quality of the food does not live up to the prices they charge. We would not recomend it!

“Il migliore!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2014

I visited Profumi di Cous Cous last summer while in San Vito. We were looking for a special restaurant - where we were happy to spend that little bit more - in order to experience the local cuisine. I had read the reviews on Trip Advisor prior to deciding, then after arriving a few locals had recommended the restaurant to us so we booked a table. Good thing we did as we didn't get in until 9pm. The restaurant was bustling, with locals and holiday makers, and the service was impeccable. We went all out - starters, first and second course, dessert, wine and liqueur and the each dish was better than the next. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting to experience the local food and happy to spend that little bit more. We dined in the outside courtyard - full of lemon and orange trees - which was an experience in itself! This restaurant is not to be missed if you are coming to San Vito!!

“Charming Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

Profumi di Cous Cous gives you a fresh dinner outside in a beautiful place, you can also have dinner inside the restaurant, but we prefered to enjoy the breeze out. The service is very ok, The patio was full of lemon plants, a very welcoming atmosphere. Is well siyuated close to the center, but not in the touristic places. If you want to be sure you will have a table is better to book in advanced. Nice food, we loved everything!

“Couscous with atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

Profumi Di Cous Cous is a lovely restaurant. We had our excellently served dinner in a beautiful, enclosed, outside garden. True you can get cous cous pretty much anywhere in San Vito Lo Capo and our first try a few years back had been so disappointing that we hadn't tried it again. We decided if we did we'd go to the place rated #1 for it. To be honest, I am not a fan but my husband is and this time he was duly impressed.
He ordered the seafood cous cous, a bit pricey compared to some other places but we thought well worth it.
Beautifully cooked seafood, including lobster, shrimp, and mussels and a side of delicious sauce to keep it moist. Unlike most restaurants in tourist towns, Profumi Di Cous Cous delivers both in food and is a dining experience.

“Best in Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

I had dinner here in August amidst the rush of the season. Reservations were necessary and the restaurant was full the entire evening. Even though it was crowded the service was excellent and the food (the cous cous of course) was excellent. They served a large bottle of Italian beer with the cous cous instead of wine. I must say it was paired extremely well and in fact was in some ways better than having wine with our meal. If I was in town I would make reservations and eat here for sure. Excellent in every way.
