Plenty of restaurants in San Vito, we went to Profumi di Cous Cous, used to be the absolute best, now it's just OK, it has become a sort of feeding machine, very nice atmosphere, beautiful garden with tables under orange trees, reasonable service and very fast. Their goal is too feed as many customer as they can and the food has suffered, a few things in the Antipasto looked like prepared a week ago! What really turned me off was the "cassata alla siciliana " one of my all time favourite desserts and very typical from Sicily. It was just plain horrible. Full of artficially coloured sugary stuff, no chocolate bits, no "canditi" , not enough "ricotta" no orange flavour, just a hint of marzipan. I felt sick during the night. Don't do that to yourself!! If you still want to go, you need to book, you'll be offered a precise time slot between 7pm and midnight...

Have just returned with my family from san vito lo capo where we had the excellent luck to come across this hotel and restaurant. Whilst we were non residents and unfortunately spoke no italian we were very warmly welcomed by the staff and looked after extremely well on the several occasions that we dined there. We did this after such a favorable visit on the first occasion with both the quality of the food as well as the service. As lovers of gourmet food we were not disappointed on any occasion either at lunch or dinner and sampled a wide variety of dishes. The ambience of the garden courtyard was a welcome relief from some of the rather touristic restaurants in San Vito where the pace seemed a bit frenetic and the quality of food a little lacking. A particular mention must go to Nino who helpfully explained and recommended dishes from the menu and suggested wines and whose recommendations we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be returning.

Went here two times to try and sit. First time they said come back in half an hour then just as was leaving the man said "I'll sit you outside so you can smoke and enjoy the view" it was like 60 degrees at night and the wind was blowing. NO THANKS. Came by once again for lunch a few days later, I asked to a waiter if they were open. He looked at me made eye contact then continued processing a payment without responding or looking at me. I left without saying a word. On two occasions with two different people, they are terrible.

Menu includes couscous and traditional Sicilian fare. The food was well prepared and the service excellent. The rear garden area offers an excellent and romantic ambiance. The restaurant is associated with the Hotel Ghibli.
