“Great for kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

We've visited about 30+ resorts in the Alps and the Dolomites and Madesimo is one of the best places for kids and families to ski. Ski area "Arlecchino" offers chair lift to blue piste, play area and Snowpark. You'll find parking area just 50 metres from the lifts. Great place!

“Great quiet family skiing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2013

We spent a week here out of school holidays with 2 9 year old boys on their first attempt at snowboarding. It was a superb venue with runs of all abilities. No queuing, very friendly locals. The food costs were very reasonable and the pistes well groomed. Dont be put off by the fact this is a so called small resort, we spent 6 days on the slopes and still had plenty of options of new stuff to do :-)

“Great for families with small children”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

The mountain is not very large but their are some great trails for everybody but not much variety. Runs off the top gondola can be very challenging but the rest of the area is relatively easy. Easy access, no lift lines and great food on the mountain. Kids all sleigh ride at the end of the day which was really fun. Not much English is spoken but everybody was very helpful. St Moritz is an easy day trip.

a relatively small ski area comapred to others in Italy (not considering the off track "canalone" very hard long track from basically top of mountain. Well organised, no people outside weekends, a variety of fun pistes. Great option 2,30 hours from milano
