My family and I enjoyed lunch recently at Tropical Ristorante and appreciated the option of sitting on the street (covered tables) or in the tropical-looking interior that is open to the breeze outside. Our family of three shared a tasty "Crema Formaggi" pizza that had gorgonzola (not overpowering), Emmental, and a couple other cheeses. The restaurant offers individual pizzas or a larger one which they say is suitable for three people. I think four is more like it. (Actually, there were 5 adults and a child at the table next to us and they had pizza left over.) My recollection is that the pizza was cut into about 12 pieces. Service was competent and friendly. The 2 euro per person service fee seems a little steep for this type of place. Tropical Ristorante is located on the main street of Sperlonga that runs along the beach, but it does not have a view of the beach.
