We had a Sunday lunch celebration here. The drive through the countryside was beautiful and views up to the village were really picturesque. But more important was the food and ambiance of the restaurant. Friendly, informed and non intrusive waiting on table - great standard. I can really recommend the papperdelle with sugo di cinta, barbecued spare ribs and perfectly cooked steak with gorgonzola cheese on top, truly yummy! This is a fairly new restaurant but the chef surely knows what he is doing. We spoke with him after the meal and all the food is locally sourced. We will most certainly return for another memorable meal here, hopefully next year when will be back in Tuscany. We thought the cost very reasonable at £30 a head for such a varied and generous spread. I read a couple of negative reviews and one mentioned tough local competition. Hmmmm! Makes you wonder!!
