Location is great and the room itself was nice. However, dissapointed in the following:
- Pay movies inop
- Poor quality ironing board
- Recieved incorrect info twice from concierge
- Could not get original language broadcasting on tv shows
- Beer prices were off the charts
- Aircon rattled louder than an aircraft engine

this is not a destination hotel. But as a business hotel or a place to stay when just arriving or before leaving you can't beat it. It is updated, clean comfortable with a good restaurant and friendly, helpful people. We like to check in the night before we leave Italy. Everything is close. You can walk or shuttle to the terminal.

This was a great place to stay when flying into Rome late at night - and price was right! The only problem I had was very minor - was the breakfast. They had 2 choices, full or Continental breakfast. But unfortunately they didn't differentiate and so we had no idea what to do.

Dear Guest,

Thank you so much for your taking the time to post your review. I am glad to know that you enjoyed your stay and the services offered. Regarding the breakfast, Full breakfast refers to a full American buffet breakfast (with cold and hot items, cold cuts and a variety of fruits, cereals, Danish and local pastries, fresh juices). Continental breakfast refers to coffee/teas/milk, bread and croissants, jam, butter and orange juice.
I hope next time you will have the chance to enjoy our breakfast@hilton which is one of our guests’ favorite features.

Looking forward to welcoming you to the Hilton Rome Airport soon.
Kind regards.

We stayed at the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel during our 4 day visit to Rome. We chose this hotel as it was close to the airport and we could walk to the hotel from the Airport (indoor walkway - moving escalator). We stayed in a suite and were able to use the executive lounge. Great place for breakfast and a drink with snacks in the evening. We actually never ate dinner out. We simply ate at the Lounge. Getting to Central Rome was easy. You could take the Express Train (from the Airport - 13 Euros) or take a cab (about 45 Euros). As there were three of us, taking a cab was the best choice. There is a lot of traffic getting into Rome in the morning, so plan an extra 30 minutes for your trip. There are plenty of cabs in Rome that are Airport cabs that have a flat rate to the airport. They will take you directly to the hotel. The rooms are excellent and the airplane noise was surprisingly quite. Excellent choice for a hotel if you don't want to stay in downtown Rome.

Room Tip: If you can afford a room that includes the Executive Lounge, do it. Breakfast, drinks and snacks wo...

We stayed at the AP Hilton because of a very early flight. The online directions are not clear and we went upmand down the escaltors trying to find the walkway. Finally got some help from a knowledgeable person and finally saw a sign about half way to the hotel. The room was small and stuffy. Despite putting the AC and fan on max cool the room slowly continued to warm, and by by 1 AM, uncomfortable. We decided to simply get up extra early and get outside where we could get some fresh air.
The desk clerk did ask why we did not report the problem, but given the short window left in our night, we simply elected to check out.
The food was just OK, but extremely salty.
The staff were mostly polite, but in all, we would not stay there again.

Dear Guest,

I would like to thank you for the time taken to review your stay with us. I am sorry you had some troubles in finding directions to the Hotel. We are currently working alongside the airport authorities (who are in charge of airport premises) to improve the signage and make it easier for our guests to reach the hotel from the airport terminals. I also apologize for the issue with the air conditioning and for not having the opportunity to address your concerns during your stay. I really hope you will give us another opportunity to serve you better in the future.

This is the only hotel connected via walkway to the Fiumicino Terminals and thus the most convenient.
Access from the food court level of T3 via a long walkway. (From T1/2, follow the train station signs.) Walkway finally ends abruptly and at night will seem confusing because there is no Hilton sign - take the elevator down to the ground floor and take the covered walkway to the hotel entrance. Airport signage is pretty inefficient. Additionally at night the walkway and elevator feel lonesome and isolated.
Room: Standard Hilton room with amenities though a spartan feel. Comfortable enough bed.
Food: Buffet style breakfast with everything. Average menu and room service menu with nothing to shout about.
Staff: Very helpful and obliging staff on all levels. Hilton worldwide seem to have a knack of finding friendly people !
Transport: Runs a complimentary shuttle bus to central Rome which stops behind the Forum / Piazza Venezia area. Very convenient - every 2hrs in each direction Airport/Rome 8,10,12 etc, return 9,11,1pm etc.
Gym: Well equipped gym is available to guests but is an 'outside' facility and thus can get very busy.

Room standards meet the Hilton brand, so from that point of view there were no problems. Ambiance missing in the lobby, perhaps because the lobby adjoins the conference space. My biggest complaint relates to the difficulty in internet connectivity, something that we experienced throughout Italy. Even the free wi-fi in the lobby was extremely temperamental and it took me 20 minutes to get a connection.
