My family spent our last night in Italy in this exceptional lovely boutique hotel. It was wonderful in every way. Beautiful room, wonderful family staff, unexpected service. We had an early flight in the morning, but the staff made sure we were given a huge selection of breakfast to go items the night before. I am just sorry our stay was so brief, would love to return someday.

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely.

We landed at Rome airport, it was quite late therefore we ordered a place for one night as close as possible.
An extremely nice lady was waiting for us (Elvira) though it was late, welcomed us, very warm, excellent hospitality.
The place itself was recently renovated, nice and cozy, very clean, includes whatever one may need
Deal also included a breakfast – they have a dining room on the roof, closed balcony (like a greenhouse) with large food selection
Fair price, highly recommended to those who need to spend a night near the airport or – being close to the big city while keeping costs down.

This is a rather late review, my partner and I stayed at Domus Lina in June 2012 for one night at the end of our ten day holiday in Italy. At first, because we had arrived through the back streets of Fiumicino, we were concerned that we had chosen a poor location to stay in for our last night. However, when we entered Domus Lina we were very happy with what we found. The entire building was spotlessly clean, in particular our double bedroom. The bed was very comfortable, the décor was a pleasing mix of classic and contemporary, all themed a fresh, bright white. The en suite was full of little complimentary products and very well appointed – a higher quality than you would expect for a standard bed and breakfast.
We took time out to walk around the surrounding area and found there were plenty of places to stop for a coffee, something sweet from a gelataria or a snack, none of which were too pricey.
We didn’t dine out in the evening as we had booked a dinner in Domus Lina. This was the real highlight of our stay; we were seated in the top floor restaurant with panoramic views of Fiumicino and the Mediterranean Sea. We were very attentively served and cooked for by Elvira the proprietor of the B&B. We had the restaurant to ourselves and were taken aback by how beautifully decorated it was. The food quality was absolutely top class, better than ristorante meals we had enjoyed in the previous ten days. We heartily recommend that anyone who stays here to dine in. The breakfast the next morning was equally excellent.
Lovely, comfortable room; very pleasant décor; gorgeous food worth going out of your way for – you must stay here if you stay in Fiomicino – a short taxi ride from the airport.

We just returned from our stay at Domus Lina. We stayed there following a 10 day cruise and prior to our return flight to the states. This hotel is simply lovely. From day one, we had nothing but good experiences. Our emails were promptly responded to and the day before we arrived we changed our mind and decided to hire a car rather than take the train. The hotel arranged for ground transportation and an excellent tour of Rome at a very reasonable price. We also ate in the restaurant upstairs which was excellent! If you are in this area, this is the hotel where you should stay. The location is great, the rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean and the price was more than reasonable. The best part, however, was the owner Elvira. She truly cares about her guests experiences at the hotel and is very customer service oriented. After our dinner, she came and chatted with us while we sipped Limoncello. We had a wonderful stay! It was like being at an old friend's house where you truly felt welcome.

I travel to this area a few times a year and always happy to try out pastures new.
I was deilghted with the quality of the room and freindliness of the staff.
Though B&B they did prepare an excelent dinner on my 1st night after a late (planned) arrival.
Unusually good breakfast for Italy

While far from Rome itself, the hotel is well located with respect to the Fiumicino airport, making it ideal for either the start or the end of your stay. Prior to my arrival I was contacted by the hotel staff, who offered me the possibility of a pick-up service (which I used). The room was big enough (two adults and two children) and very well kept. Breakfast was not that great but passable, as it is often the case in Italian hotels. Overall a reasonable value for the money.

I stayed just for one night at Domus Lina to catch a flight very early in the morning at the Fiumicino Airport.
They picked me up at the airport (the shuttle service is available on order and it costs 20 €). There was a problem with my reservation, because they didn't have the room I booked, but they fixed the problem by giving me another room in a very nice hotel near there: nice solution with a very enjoyable attitude by the owner of the Domus Lina.
I had my dinner at the restaurant of the Domus Lina: very fresh seafood and great wine for 25 € and the joy of a dinner on a beautiful terrace enjoying the company of the other guests and of the owner: even if I was alone I had a great time with them.
So a nice and friendly atmosphere, a great attitude in fixing problems and an amazing stay.
The only drawback maybe is the prices: too expensive for the service they offer, cinsidering that in other situations I payed more less for the same things!
But overall if I will ever need again an accomodation near Fiumicino I will surely come back here!
