This is a comfortable little B&B located 10 minutes away from the airport. Alex and her husband own and manage this wonderful business. For a small fee, we were shuttled to and from the airport. We chose to stay for two nights. Our room was large with a private bath and AC. Our bed was very comfortable. A simple italian style breakfast was served upon request.

Room Tip: Access to restaurants are limit if you are without a car. We ate at the restaurant next door which had a very limited menu selection.

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at this B&B as well as the other B&B that the owners have. This is a family run business and they are always trying to make your stay enjoyable. A shuttle service is provided for pick up or drop off at the airport. We found this B&B very clean and well appointed with several resturants within walking distance. It is very quiet as it is located in a suburb. Alex and her family were wonderful hosts/

Give this B&B a try if you want something less than l0 minutes from Fiumicino Airport/Rome. We stay there the night before we are flying out. If you take the train from downtown Rome to the Fiumicino Airport, you can call this B&B and they will pick you up where the train dropped you off. Our stay was 85 euros and that included the shuttle pick up, and delivery back early the next morning for our flight. The rooms are well appointed, clean, and have ensuite bathrooms. There is a nice restaurant right next door. Alessandra hosts the B&B and you can get in touch with her via the website. This is not as simple as a fancy hotel and expensive shuttle by the airport, but if you don't mind calling them and waiting a few minutes for their shuttle, and if you would like to pay a very reasonable rate, this is the place for you.

The Rome Airport B&B is located on via Della Scafa 441. Their website is
www.rome-airport.it. Their e-mail is rome.airport@tiscali.it

When you book, you can arrange for them to pick you up at the Fiumicino Airport, and they will also take you there for a flight out. They are less than l0 minutes from the airport. There is a nice restaurant just a few yards from the B&B.

We stayed for several days in an apartment in Rome, and then took the train from Rome to the airport so that we could stay close to the airport our last night. When we arrived at the airport, we called the B&B and they drove to pick us up. We had to figure out where we would be waiting so that we could be clear to them when they came to get us. English is hard for them, but we managed to get our message across and they picked us up just fine. It is a family business, and they couldn't be nicer. The rates are reasonable. When we arrived, the room was spotless, and we had a lovely bathroom in the room. There was a tray filled with water bottles, packages of food, etc. It was not an "honor bar." It was there for guests to enjoy as part of their stay.
They do serve breakfast, but for early flights that is harder for them to do. Our flight left at 7a.m. and they had us at the airport at 5a.m.

A very comfortable B&B in a quiet suburb not far from Fiumicino at reasonable rates, very friendly proprietors, transportation to Rome & restaurants within walking distance. We stayed there in April on our way to & from Sicily & were very pleased with everything. Refreshing change from impersonal hotels, and the local restaurant/pizzeria was very good & reasonably priced. Check out their website at:
