“Perfect for families!”

Wonderful! We stayed for two weeks with our extended family and Willowfarm suited us perfectly. (8 adults, 2 children and 1 newborn)

Highly recommended for families with children, my girls loved collecting eggs and feeding the donkeys, Swings were a hit as well.

The view is beautiful and John & Dolores were wonderful hosts proving great local advice and were quick to help out with anything we needed.

We would have stayed a third week had they not already booked another lucky family!

“Excellent”
Reviewed July 16, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Stayed here in early July with family of all ages. Excellent accommodation, free range eggs and homemade wheaten loaf in a big kitchen waiting for you on arrival. A pool table to keep all ages amused, and swings and a slide for younger children in the back garden, great gas bbq for use if the weather is kind. John and Dolores are very nice people, John took us all around the farm, the children were fascinated watching the sheep sheering and they also got to see the hens and pick their own freshly laid eggs. A great base to travel around Donegal and beyond with John more than helpful to pass on his own local knowledge and advice to help you to make the most of your stay. Great views of Donegal from the front of the house. Highly recommend for anyone and we will definitely be coming back again as a family.

“Fun for All”
Reviewed June 16, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This was our second stay and it was just as enjoyable as the first. A welcoming fire had been lit by John and Dolores provided her lovely homemade brown bread and fresh eggs .
Our grandchildren had great fun feeding the donkeys and playing on the swings and slide, the grown-ups enjoyed the pool table..
The house location is tranquil and private while being central to trips to the beach ( Ballymastocker especially ),Glenveigh National Pk.,etc..
All in all, a brilliant holiday and we can't wait to return..

Reviewed May 11, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We are delighted the welcome pack of fresh eggs , homemade brown bread and bucket peat for the fireplace. The farmhouse can accomodate ten guest including 2 kids which they loved the trip to the farm animals. Reasonable price for the 7 days in the month of May.Pool table will really entertain you and definitey to recommend this hidden gem in Donegal.

“Amazing half term break”
Reviewed November 2, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We have just spent three nights at Willow Farm and we had a superb time.
The house was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. We had plenty of towels, extra bedding and peat for the fire. The owner John was so welcoming and friendly. He met us on arrival and explained everything quickly and without fuss and give us his number incase we had any difficulties ( which we didn't). He also gave us the gift of a wheaten scone which was absolutely delicious and lasted a few breakfasts.
The house is heated by a stove in the cosy living room which was welcome on the wet, cold halloween nights. The kids had a ball in the large dining room, playing pool watching dvd's and chilling out. The kitchen was great and had plenty of plates etc for our large party of 10.
John also came down on the second day to check in and took the kids and us up to his farm to collect eggs and feed the sheep. This was a lovely touch and the kids loved it. They even got to sit on the tractor.
The outside space was ideal for children and although we didn't get to use it much due to the weather we did enjoy feeding our neighbours the donkeys!!
All in all this is one of the best houses we have stayed in and would reccomend it to anyone wanting to visit Donegal. We would definitely return. Can't wait!
