We are from Australia, we chose this hotel because it was in a great location and the hotel had all the amenities we were looking to book our stay in Greece for 2 weeks... After being there for 2 weeks, it was better than ever expected!! The friendly close touch staff/family made every minute of our experience a worth while stay...

Really great hotel with really friendly and very helpful staff in every aspect!! Really clean with great amenities!! Had a great stay here and would definetly recommend to others and stay again!! Also housekeepers are very friendly and spot on with there job, they cleaned our room every single day without fail... (That was our daily wake up call)
We will definitely will be staying here again next time we visit Greece.

Hi we are a family of 4, our two boys were 8 and 5 when we went and we loved the site... Costa and family are lovely, the pool is clean and my boys took inflateables in daily, the village is great good tavernas and some lovely walks, You've got to trek up the hills to find the Tortoise reserve its a lovely lil oasis with a few nice little churches on route! The rooms here are compact and cleaned daily with staff having a day off on sundays! The cooking facilities are limited two small rings and saucepans so dont plan to cook a roast while yor there lol. The beers were fairly priced and the kids enjoyed plenty of icecreams as we had some great weather! We totally enjoyed our two weeks here and would go back again, hiring a car is easy and the lovely lady in "Kryapiggy" not the right spelling i know but very good service. Hanioti is a 30min stroll and has a few extra shops if u fancy a change from Polychrono.

Room Tip: the new build had better balconies!

The place is nice, clean, good breakfast, very friendly service - family owned place, hospitality with absolutely no remarks! They have also some other entertainment: outdoor chess board, ping-pong table, mini golf, bar etc. Hands on attitude, they really come across your needs, no matter how small and funny, the whole day. The beach is nearby, just the right short walking distance, so you can be away from the crouds on the coast line. Rooms/appartments are very well equipped - LCD TV, fridge, small kitchen box, wide balcony, cleaning every day, often change of sheets/towels, every second day. Pool and pool side very nice. The owners put a good effort to the detail. Great place to be, relax and have the Chalkidiki experience at full. A place to go back again and again.

Room Tip: The highest floor offers you a bit of a sea view, but all the others seemed just fine.

The Kostas family made my holiday. They are friendly, caring and cannot do enough for you.
Granddad and Nanna are delightful along with their sons and daughters. The barman is a lovely young man and is always on hand to help you with anything you need.
The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The housekeepers are very polite and always keep you well stocked with clean towels and toilet paper.
The barbeque night was a great success. Lovely kebabs, burgers, sausages, giant beans in tomato sauce, salads, dips and boiled eggs. Well worth the 10 Euros.
The continental breakfast is huge and will last you all day.
In the town of Polychrono you will find very nice Greek Tavernas selling a very good selection of Greek and English cuisine.
The Thomson reps are very helpful. Ours was Sarah and she is brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble for her.
I will definitely be going back to the Royal Kostas next year and I can't wait. It has been one of my best holidays so far this year.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the ground floor if you are not very mobile as there is no lift and you can find yo...

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in the Royal Kostas Apartments. They are in a very good location for the whole resort. The apartments are very clean and spacious and 3 out of the 4 blocks have a view of the pool. The staff are amasing and nothing is a problem, if you can find a problem, that is. The pool area is kept clean and the food, although basic snacks, is excellent. My wife had a problem with a mosquito bite and when the staff noticed it gave her some cream to sort it before we could get to the chemist. If you like a good english breakfast or succulent Roast Beef and Yorkies you must try the Cockney Cafe where a warm welcome is always the norm. Will book this hotel again in the future.

Arrived back late last night after a week in Royal Kostas. Well what can I say other than Thank you all so much for a fab, fun holiday.
All the staff are great, so friendly and really helpfull, nothing was too much trouble.
Elle and Constantinos who work behind the bar day and night for long hours are brilliant, they are always cheerfull and Constantinos is a really cheeky boy! Our cleaner Nelle did a great job keeping the apartment for us, it was spotless and she is really friendly too, dont ignore her just because she is the cleaner.
We had to buy washing up cloths/liquid/tea towell as this is not provided or you could take some with you in a small travel bottle Would also definateley recommend you take plug in mozzie killers for the room and a good insect repellant as the mozzies can be a bit of a pain in the evening due to the location, although I only got bitten a couple of times.
Some of the reviews I read prior to going said that Kostas is miserable and so is his wife, well I can tell you people don't believe a word, all it takes is a little effort on your part and they are the nicest people ever, even Nanna and Grandpa Kostas who speak almost no English were lovely, she even gave me her recepie for giant beans in tomato sauce because my friend and I enjoyed them so much at the bbq night!!! That leads me on to another comment about 10Euro being a rip off for a burger. The bbq night we had was great, there was loads of choice from burger to pork souvlaki, salad bread and of course Nannas beans, all on a help yourself basis.
The pool area is also kept spotless and tidy and the pool itself is clean and well maintained with no broken tiles like I have seen in some 5* hotels.
The town is a lovely place, quiet with no nightclubs or club 18/30 lager louts where the Greeks come on holiday too. It has lots of choice for eating traditional Greek from the many tavernas on the promanade like Aypa for delicious sea food or Flegra for a more varied menue (plus a breakdancing parrot) or the Polychrono Taverna as you turn right into town at the first cross roads you come to after the main road or British food from the Cockny Cafe in one of the side streets offf the main square.Be warned though and make sure all your clothes have elasticated waists, the portions wherever you go are vast and a free something is delivered to your table almost everywhere wether it be coffee, wine, liquer or best of all pudding!
We only did a coulpe of excursions one to the market and mountains, the other a boat trip. Both were great but the man in the mountain is so funny and at over 80 years old puts most 20 somethings to shame for energy! Go and visit and see for yourselves, also the wild Boar lunch is delicious. Our boat trip tookus to the middle of the three penninsulas Sithonia. A stunning place with lovely, but still shingle, beaches. This part of Greece is mostly popular with Russian and Eastern European tourists, as is Hanioti, the next resort on from Polychrono which is easily reached by local bus which costs 1e60c each way or around 7e for a taxi each way but for the brave can be reached on foot by the beach or by what is known as the bottom road which runs paralell with the beach from one to the other which I would recomend as the shingle beach is really hard going.
Overall this holiday was a relaxing break in the sun and I will return to this part of Greece like a shot and stay with Kostas and his wonderfull family again, as they made me and my friend feel like part of it. I can see now why some reviewers return again and again.
