My wife and I stopped in Castelnaudary on our way to Carcassonne from Sarlat. We wanted to see the LeBoat dockage as we had boated down the Garonne canal in September and are considering doing the Midi next year. We did not stay at the hotel and only ate lunch there. From the appearances, the hotel could use a little lipstick and rouge. I chose to have steak and my wife had a salmon crape and spinach timbal. Both dishes were serve with an egg/squash dish that was quite tasty. My steak must have been cut from between the horns as it was tough as tough can be, but still had a nice flavor.
