My husband and I discovered La Luna on our first trip to Nosara and instantly fell in love with it. It has that Mediterranean bohemian paradise feel to it which begs one to sit back in one of their super comfy seating arrangements, have a fabulous cocktail, and soak in all that the paradise of Pelada has to offer. Throughout our Nosara vacations, La Luna would be our little steal away spot for sunset cocktails, romantic dinners, delicious bountiful and healthy breakfasts, or just a little ceviche or guacamole during the mid-day with a cold cerveza. Really - La Luna is a perfect destination, whenever. On our fourth trip to Nosara, my now husband proposed to me at La Luna on one of those idyllic sunset evenings over cocktails, and year later, we returned to Nosara and had our 100 person wedding also at La Luna. So for many reasons we hold La Luna very close to our heart. And I have to say, from intimate two person romantic dinners to large 100 person special events - La Luna has always been a flawless experience for us. For our wedding, the owner could not have been more gracious and accommodating. The staff was completely on point, the service - impeccable, the drinks were super delicious and the food was fabulous. We had a sit down dinner and served 100 people their choice of three different entrees, and all of our guests were thrilled with their meal as well as the cocktails that were served before hand. So put all that together, with an incredible setting/ambience and the breathtaking nature that the restaurant is surrounded by and our wedding was truly a magical and romantic experience! We will be returning this winter to Nosara for a babymoon and we certainly plan on making La Luna one of our regular spots for eating and drinking, not to mention the locale of our 1st anniversary dinner!!!
