I'm typing this from my room at the A3 hotel. This is just one of many new hotels in Ubon and I'm happy to say that it is quite impressive.

Only a few months old means that the place is spotless and the beds are in excellent condition although the pillows are really uncomfortable. Bed linen is of high quality.

No kettle in the room which when you need to warm up a baby bottle is a shame plus there is no microwave downstairs either.

The best thing about the room is the shower! Finally a place in Ubon that spent the money on great water pressure with on call hot water. My shower last night was bliss!

Connecting rooms for 1,100 baht (total) are great for my family. A few different types of room are available from between 500 and 700 baht.
Nice big car park out the front.
Wifi is very fast. No breakfast included (or available) but I heard this might change soon.

Lots of Thai street food options within a short walk plus some western restaurants like Peppers Bakery a slightly longer walk away.

This new place is town is serious about capturing the middle cost hotel market and I think they will do very well. Well worth checking out on your next trip to Ubon.
