We came back from the most wonderful two weeks spent in Cephalonia. The Island is amazingly beautiful, there is loads to write about that.
We were made to feel home in Kazarma apartments and were very sad to leave it. I big THANK YOU, to Artemis, the lovely landlady that greeted us as guests and was so helpful and kind until the end of the stay.
The apartment was superb, brand new and immaculately clean, very convenient too. The kitchen had everything needed, bedrooms were good size and very comfortable, bathroom too. The apartment is in a small village and there is not much to do there, but that did not bother us, because we rented a car and visited different places and beaches every day. Artemis said hello with a basket full of treats, cleaned apartment and changed sheets regularly, she even cooked us some meals ;) We used one of the garages too. She was very kind to give us a lift a couple of times until we get our car sorted, better have that booked before you get to the island, especially in busy time like August.
There was a very peaceful view from the large balcony where we sometimes sat for dinner and it was the cloud high mount Aenos. There are many beaches around, our preferred ones were Makris Gialos and Ammes beach, but the small one of Spartia was very nice as well. We are definitely planning to go back to Cephalonia and Kazarma apartments, because it was love from first sight!
