It's always a pleasant surprise when you find a nice restaurant in a provincial town.
The food is really very good - we stuck to kiwi favourites of mussells, lamb and fish and were not dissapointed. Salad was also excellent.
My only gripe is that when one asks for steamed vegetables so I can be healthy, I don't really want about 3000 calories worth of butter on them! Having said that - the vegetables were a good selection and cooked nicely.
Can't comment on dessert as we went to Umu's (known locally for their deserts).
Reasonable prices here too!
