“Wonderful Trip”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and i must say that the service was excellent .The staff were very friendly, from the front desk,to dining areas to the the adventure desk.Ed Evans was most helpful to us as he arranged our fine dining reservations.
The food was great as well and the variety was well appreciated.I love this hotel because its very close to the airport and most of St.Lucia's attractions.
All in all we had a wonderful time and i would recommend this hotel. For the price,it was worth it.

So we visited Coconut Bay for our honeymoon from 6/23-6/30/13..A very short ride from the airport in a clean air conditioned car driven by Francis..We were greeted by Davidson who was very pleasant with rum punch and a welcoming smile. Davidson handled our bags and escorted us to our Premium Harmony Suite. The room was "nice"...in need of minor renovations but comfortable. The staff at Cbay was very pleasant and friendly...we met Gina in "Calabash" the Creole Restaurant..and Janette and Ima in "Silk" the Asian Restaurant..we enjoyed the lazy pool..the gift shop..The Grill which is open until 1am. The many different bars where I enjoyed a mixture of different drinks and my husband got fixated on Coconut Clouds. Marilyn from housekeeping was very welcoming and tended to our needs. Overall our stay was very relaxing and the Cbay staff was very pleasant and friendly..we would recommend this resort to friends and family.

Very nice family oriented! We rented a car but really wasn't necessary. We were there for a 11 nights. We enjoyed every moment! Thanks to all the staff. Nightly daily entertainment. The beach and pool areas are very clean. The food on a scalw of 1-10 was a 9. We are a meat and potato family and we weren't much in to some of the cuisine. So we ate at the beach grill alot which was great.

My wife and I stayed here for a week mid-late June on our Honeymoon, it is a very beautiful place. This side of the island does not have much in the way of a view, as far as mountains, or landmarks go, but very beautiful nonetheless. It is only minutes (5ish) away from Hewanorra Airport, so the short drive was nice after long flights. June is the start of the rainy season but we had mostly good luck with it. When we arrived, it was raining, and was overcast for a day or two, but the rest of the time was hot and sunny. ALL of the staff there are very, very friendly and helpful. Anything we needed, they we more than happy to help us with. There are 4 restaurants inside the resort, the main place, and 3 others. We ate at the main restaurant the entire trip as two of the others (the lounge and Silk, the asian inspired place) had dress codes and required pants. I had not packed any, not thinking I would need any in the Caribbean. Had we not wanted to eat at the other restaurants, I wouldn't have, it was so humid. There is a poolside grill that we occasionally ate at for lunch and late night snacks (they were open until 1 AM), and the food there was also very good. The main restaurant was buffet style, and had generally good food. Most of it is kept on warmers, and so sometimes could get a little less than fresh, but we liked it still. The entire lounge area was open, from the front desk, clear to the pool and was nice and airy. Most evenings they had live music from one or two local artists who were pleasant to listen to during and after dinner. A couple nights they had some happenings down on the beach with more live music. Very fun atmosphere. Neither my wife nor I drink, but there was a bar around every corner. One night they had some sort of party at the adults side pool that went clear up to midnight with LOUD music. We could hear the bumpin' bass all up way up into out third floor room, so if you're not a sound sleeper, that might be a problem for you. I read this also on another review, about the parties, so they must be a consistent thing. There didn't seem to be any mosquitoes anywhere (they drive a golf cart around each afternoon and "fog" with some sort of chemical), but we each got bit about 4 times. The rooms were air conditioned and very clean. Everything worked nicely, and the bed was comfortable. We didn't have any problems with the hotel staff. The town close by, Vieux Fort, is not very big (we didn't leave the hotel) and there is not much in the way of activities nearby, but we were content to just lounge. There were plenty of lounge chairs, hammocks and sun beds everywhere. There is also a small water slide on the family side, if anything like that tickles your fancy. Overall a very relaxing and nice experience.

Room Tip: Generally, everything on the adult side was more quiet.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our only hiccup was upon check-in. We upgraded to an ocean view room in the Harmony side and we were initially given a room with an obstructed view. Management was quick to correct the issue for us, and we had a great time the rest of our trip. We ate at the buffet, Calabash, Silk, the Italian place, the grill, and even enjoyed the couples dinner. All of the food was great! The staff at the resort is very friendly and most were very helpful. The room was clean and a good size for our needs. We arranged for a private island tour which was a little expensive $270 but well worth it. We had a great time at Coconut Bay and did not want to leave after a short 5 night trip. We will definitely return and would recommend the resort to everybody whether you are a couple looking to get away or a family. There is plenty to do for everybody.

We Spent 5 days end of June here with kids, 9 and 15. Great resort for a family vacation. Really great that was only few minutes from airport. Check in was smooth and loved the welcome drinks, nice touch. Rooms definitely dated but very clean and room service was good. We stayed on 3rd floor splash wing. Nice views! Food was best all inclusive food we have experienced so far. Keep up the good work chefs! Drinks were ok, wine, however, was surprisingly very good at all restaurants and by the pool as well! Kids loved that they had their own ""drink menu"" at the swim up bar! Water slides were great for the kids, but they should open them little earlier than 10:00. We really loved the outdoor western buffet, excellent food there too! No problems getting reservations at the restaurants. We booked the ziplining at Pitons through the hotel and all went smoothly, nice time! Managers cocktail party was nice too. Not much to do at night, but kids were tired by 9:00 anyway from swimming, so not a big deal for us. Beach was very nice, water did have lots of seaweed but swim out past it and its ok. Water temperature was fantastic and views were really nice. People were all very friendly. Coffee bar in lobby was great!! Nice to have that! Also the popcorn by pool was nice touch too! Its those little things that really help out. We heard they were doing room renovations soon, so that should be nice, just hope prices dont go up because it was a really nice value for what you get. All in all very nice trip!
