This is our 4th visit to the Caribbean, and overall this has to be our favourite.

As others have said this hotel is a 5 minute drive from the airport - what a difference it makes. Check in was quick and very pleasant with a cold rum punch supplied. A nice room is very important to me, so we paid for a refurbished one on the 4th floor (Harmony). Well to our absolute delight we were upgraded to an even more beautiful room/appartment - that never happens to us!!

We chose harmony as we didnt have chldren with us (been there done that) and I have to say it was nice not to have the little ones charging around all over the place! But having said that we did spend some time on the splash side, and the little ones were not a problem, we certainly didnt see "hoards" of them.

Agreed there are not many umbrellas, but stacks of coconut trees to get some shade, and this is the first hotel in all my years of travelling that has ample sunbeds for everyone, no need for that horrendous worry about having to reserve.

The grounds are very spread out and beautifully maintained.

The food was of a very good standard, we had breakfast and lunch in the main buffet restaurant, and for the evenings rotated with the 3 a la carte themed restaurants simply because we feel its more of an evening out with waiter service, and also the 2 evenings where the buffet is moved outside, how often do we get the chance to eat outside!!

The staff here are amazing as everyone has said previously. There were some previous negative comments about the reception staff, but not so for us, every single staff member was happy and courteous, and just wanted to make sure we were having a great time! We can name some of them who we happened to come in contact with the most, but for me they ALL deserve a shout! Junious of course at the adult bar,and our maid Victoria who made sure we had everything we asked for.

Unfortunately my husband (Marky Mark) badly injured his back just 3 days into our holiday,so we would like to say special thanks to Nurse Victoria who quickly assessed him and organised an ambulance, to Gregorson who accompanied us to the hospital and stayed with us until he was absolutely sure we were being taken care of, and to Mekaj who accompanied us on a 2nd visit to the hospital and organised wheel chair assistance for our journey home.

On our last day,my husband said to me, if there was one thing you could change about this resort, what would it be - I said nothing! Enjoy

This hotel looks much better on the web pics tha in rality. Its not as new as it looks like. The service runs form average with some employees trying to make you feel comfortable while others being unattentive to say the least. Food is also not so good, with the Silk restaurant the best bet while the pool grill with absolutely unedible food.
I went ther for a windsurfing vacation, it was a mistaleçke. This is not a windsurfing spot. First the average is only 15 to 16lts when tou need at least 20 to get you though the waves. Anothe issu is the refs. when there is low tide (evrytçday mornoçing til 1PM) you cant get in without braking a fin. I ended up learning kite. it is a great sop for kite, since winds are constant at avaerage 15kts. Bruno and his staff at the kit rental are also recommendable

Room Tip: Rooms close to the elevator have the best view

We just returned from a week at CB. From the first "Izzy" shuttle driver to our "goodbye sucker"
from Julius we had a EXCELLENT time. The view of the Pitons alone is breathtaking. Personalities are a tremendous asset to every staff member that we encountered. Our maid, Sarah, is a true talent at flower arrangements and "towel swans". The place is immaculate and very well laid out. Food is ALWAYS available. The "Blue Bar Bites" spicy chicken wrap is to die for. The drinks are very generous and made well. A big plus was the lazy river......a must do. Karla was one heck of a staff member that gave my daughter and her boyfriend a "Virgin Atlantic photo shoot" on the beach with horses.....what an adventure. Food was plentiful and hot and much to our liking. You can always find something to eat. Ritney Cox is a PLUS for entertainment....always a smile and an activity for all. Our room was on the main floor, 164, and I loved having no steps to climb. Very quiet too on the Harmony side. Karoke, bingo, press your luck (bounce a tennis ball in a champagne bucket-win the champagne), entertainment, salsa dance lessons, whatever you want to try; it is there for you. Either join or don't. I loved every minute of our visit and we will definitely return. Thank you SO much CB, for a job well done and very much appreciated by us.

Room Tip: The end rooms are quiet - very quiet; which is a good thing for us. Slept well every night. Sarah is one of the best to experience for housekeeping.

We had a brilliant holiday at the Coconut Bay hotel. The staff were brilliant all round so friendly and happy. We thought the food was excellent with a good variety but were surprised no ice cream was readily available..we stayed in the Harmony section which was a must if you are a couple of adults as there were hoards of young children staying in the Splash section of the hotel. To be fair we only noticed the children at breakfast as the harmony section was segregated.. Our room was large with two queen size beds. It had a TV ,fridge and safe and tea and coffee making facilities. Also the bathroom was very nice The rooms were cleaned daily at a high standard..Our only major gripe was the lack of sun umbrellas in the harmony section only 6 in total and you had to get up at the crack of dawn to be able to get a sun bed under one. There was a need for 3 times that number, with perhaps some perhaps being installed on the grass area. (This was comment consistent with many guests during our stay and we would be interested in the management comments on this issue). There were plenty of sun beds were available. We do feel that perhaps the evening entertainment could be reorganised. The great county and western night with a terrific band, was in full swing when the band stopped playing at 9.30 which was far too early- 10.30 would be far more reasonable. The Blau bar was the best venue for live music with plenty of room for dancing in the open air. We would have liked to have seen at least a couple of nights each week of live music until 10.30 there. Middle of the road music, and not too loud a volume, which is more suitable for the 40 plus age group which was a large proportion of the Harmony section The Peter John lounge did lend itself to live music and was very poorly attended during our stay. we also found the seating uncomfortable there. It is well worth joining the organised walk into Vieux Fort . We only wanted to point out the few negative aspects from our point of view but all round it was a wonderful holiday. If you like cocktails you will be in your element staying here.Near the airport but only for abut 2 hours in the mid/late afternoon do you hear any type of aircraft noise 5 planes at the most..

Room Tip: Harmony wing for adults, higher floor room s should be a preference.

Great value. Beautiful resort on private beach. Great for walking. Beautiful pool areas with ample chair availability. Lazy river and water slides an extra plus. Plenty of dinning options and good range of food choices. Rooms clean and comfortable bathrooms could use updating. Gorgeous 4th floor views. Best asset was the staff. Victoria our room attendant did an extra special job. Make sure you stop by the upstairs piano bar and visit Ceszy. She was a ton of fun. Juneus at the adult pool bar provided daily entertainment as well. We would definatley recommend!!
