I like this place to kite surf or windsurf - great location, good food -its hot but it's cool! The water is an amazing turquoise, pretty flat and fast, enclosed by a distant reef.

Great setting but a rough beat up beach. Good beer, more of a locals hangout. Excellent for para sailing.

Great people, laid back environment.. Next to a fantastic beach that was nearly empty every day.. Good mix between locals and tourists.. My girlfriend and I ended up coming here every single day of our trip.. Great place to have a late breakfast, wander over to the beach for the afternoon, and wander back to eat dinner/drinks.. Excellent vegetarian options..

We were exploring the southern part of the island and lunchtime approached. We were getting really hungry when we came across the Reef beach cafe and what a find it was. The service wasn't that slow by st lucian standards and the choice of food was good, we had pork chop, lamb chop, pizza and home made fish fingers. They were all good but the fish fingers were excellent. Oooo and the onion rings were really good too.
The place was pretty busy and there were a number of friendly dogs wandering about.
The cafe is right on the beach, an amazing beach. The best we have ever seen on st lucia, but it was a lovely calm day that we were there.
Will definitely return if we are too early for our plane home.
