had a great early meal, saltfish and bake, casual place, friendly staff, great kite surfing, even if you just watch the pro's.

“st Lucia needs more places like this”
Reviewed November 19, 2011

found this little gem when going back to the airport for flight home.
cheap & cheerful, with laid back vibe, outside tables under the trees on the edge of sandy beach. friendly service, lots of healthy choices on the menu.
far exceeded any other meal I had on the island - esp in value for money.
who cares if the odd plane flies low overhead.

“Tasty food, good view and very reasonably priced”
Reviewed November 16, 2011

A great little spot for lunch and watching the kite surfing. Tasty food and very reasonably priced.

It is close to the airport but that isn't an issue with the low frequency of flights.

“Cheap and cheerful”
Reviewed November 10, 2011

Dropped in for lunch on the way back to the airport as we had an hour to spare and had been before. Very reasonable prices - Piton a third of the resort prices and meals inexpensive but you do get what you pay for. I had a chicken burger not wanting to have anything which may not agree with me before an 8 hour flight. However my chicken burger bore no resemblance to an actual chicken so I imagine it was made up of bits of chicken nobody wants so I was extremely disappointed.
I did end up with a bit of an upset stomach but as the food on our Virgin flight was awful I don't know which one to blame.
The setting right on the beach is great but if you are not staying in the South a bit of a journey just to save a few dollars.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Quick thing about the chicken burger: we use minced beef to make our own hamburgers and minced chicken to make our own chicken burgers. However, we now also have chicken breast burgers on our menu for those of you who like to recognize what part of the beast is being served. :)
