“Love the Perch!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2012

Best perch in Port Stanley. Usually sit on the patio when weather permits but enjoy sitting inside as well. Owner is "hands on". Like the atmosphere. Soups are homemade and extensive menu.

“Getting Worse”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2012

My friend loves their perch platter and it is good and a decent value. I ordered the spicy quesadilla. Didn't know there was a cheese shortage. The cheese was totally missing and the chicken bits were so hard I couldn't even chew them. The chicken didn't even have salt and pepper season let alone any spice. What a joke. The server did take the order back and I got the perch burger instead. But to the cooks, could you please get a new recipe for tartar sauce? That stuff you make (or maybe it's store bought) is a neon green and not appetizing at all. And just a hint if you like french fries, ask for them to be cooked twice, otherise they're limp and oily. Won't be going back anytime soon.

“Not impressed....”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

Went to this restaurant last night. Was not impressed. First ordered Caesar's (fancy Bloody Mary) which were very good so thought the food would be equally tasty. Ordered the special of New York Strip steak Medium Rare with the side of ribs and salad with ranch dressing. When getting the salad the "ranch dressing" just tasted like a cheap mayonaise. The OVERCOOKED (was actually med well instead of med rare) New York steak was tough like leather and had no taste...Don't think this restaurant even knows about herbs and spices. Thru all this dinner the waitress didn't even give us any water, tea or even ask. When it came time to pay our bill we had to literally "flag her down" to get the check then "flag her down" to give her our money...On the other had my niece had a steak that tasted a little better and shrimp that had a nice flavor... Buccaneer you need to pay more attention to what comes out of the kitchen and your servers to learn the concept of "serving."
