We stayed for two nights after purchasing a 'Wowcher deal', room was lovely - modern and clean, with a fantastic shower, and a lovely view over the little harbor opposite the Inn. Staff were very friendly and welcoming - even the cleaners!! Which was lovely. Had a very yummy breakfast each morning - selection of cereal to choose from, followed by cooked breakfast which was done to perfection each time! With fresh juice and tea and coffee. Would recommend and would definitely stay again - thank you to all members of staff for a lovely stay! :-)

We only stayed for one night while attending a golden wedding in Maybole. The staff were excellent and the room was top notch. Great shower. Breakfast was well cooked and substantial.
Nice bar and a good pint of Belhaven Best.

Room Tip: All rooms overlook the harbour

We added a stay at the Dunure Inn to an already full itinerary, I can honestly say it was the highlight of our trip. We arrived dishevelled, hungry and in need of smile... The staff at the Dunure Inn provided all. The accommodation was fresh, clean and comfortable, the location beautiful, the food excellent, and the staff accommodating to a fault. Well Done all at Dunure Inn and thoroughly recommended!!!
I have marked terrible for Swimming pool and Gym because my mobile device needed me to put something down and they don't have them.

My wife and I stumbled across the gem of a place whilst out for a trip to Ayrshire. Its set in beautiful location next to a small harbour with great views of the Clyde estuary. The Inn was impeccably furnished with very friendly staff.
We had the chicken with a peppercorn sauce and the local haddock dish with mushy peas. They were cooked to perfection and very generous portions which left no room for a sweet next time were fasting prior to going.

My husband and I stayed in the Dunure Inn this week, and really enjoyed the experience !

Not only is the Inn excellent - for decor, food and friendliness of staff, but its location is 'spot on' too !

We hope to return !

Room Tip: I guess that all rooms look out over the harbour - as ours did - wonderful !

We were a little apprehensive about staying here after reading some of the (mainly older?) reviews here, but in the end we need not have worried. The accommodation, food, service and general atmosphere were all very good to excellent and we had a great time.

The ensuite was rather cramped and despite (or because of?) having a great power-shower had a couple of maintenance "issues" (reported to the owner), but If the vastly differing TA reports of the Inn do relate simply to before/after the change of management then all appears now to be sorted. If not, then it's always worth remembering that it takes two to tango and perhaps making use of the excellent room mirror might be instructive!
