What a shame. A lovely house with no wi-fi for guests and no TV in the rooms. (I was told it was in case a guest put the volume up too loud.) The thing is the owners have their own wi-fi at their end of the house but don't share it but offer you the wi-fi of the pub next door if you sit by their dining-room wall. That's before they lock the dining-room for "Fire Regulations". Oh dear. They just like locking doors i think.

Room Tip: They have baths but won't let you use them unless you pay extra.

The most comfortable and "at home" I have ever felt in any B&B. The service was superb - they dried my tent, didn't fuss about me being wet and muddy, yet the place was spotless. At the same time they were just very naturally friendly and helpful people. I had originally planned to stay one night on my walk across Scotland but stayed 2 at short notice. I left something behind when I left and got a call to my mobile to ask about it, then they sent it on to my home address. I would definitely go out of my way to stay again if I am in the area.

A couple (64/71) stayed for one night. Arriving rather late and unexpectedly, Terry and Shan were very welcoming. Very spacious and comfortable room. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Would like to have been able to stay longer. Highly recommended.

Our third stay at Craigellachie. A fantastic place to stay with lovely hosts and comfortable and cosy accommodation. Our room was perfect and met all our needs.

Room Tip: We have stayed here 3 times and each time in a different room. Each one has been excellent.

This is one of the nicest b & b's we have stayed in. Terry and Shan work hard to keep standards high and are friendly and helpful. The quiet room on the side of the house wasn't large but was equipped with everything you could want including the best hospitality tray we have ever had. The ensuite bathroom was spacious and they have thought of everything. Everything was spotlessly clean with quality linen. The room doesn't have easy chairs or a TV but there is a comfortable lounge downstairs with TV, books, games, magazines. The breakfast room had separate tables which we prefer and the coffee maker was kept going. There was a choice of cereals and fruit then a choice of cooked items; I had smoked haddock and poached egg which was lovely and fairly unusual to find in a b & b. The pub next door does good meals. Craigellachie also has off road parking too. We would certainly stay here again.

The couple running this guest house were very friendly and helpful. We were only there for a short break and wanted to take in some of the local scenery and they were more than happy to advise us of places we might like to visit.
The room we stayed in was fairly small, but very clean and comfortable with en-suite facilities. A large comfortable guest lounge was available, but we were never in during the day.
The breakfast was first class and probably contributed to the gain of a few pounds in weight over the four night stay, but it was worth it.
The guest house is located in the centre of Carrbridge which is a beautiful wee village surrounded by gorgeous scenery. It's a ten minute drive to Aviemore and an hour drive to the Moray coast.
Loved the location and thoroughly enjoyed the walk around Loch An Eilein ( about 20 min drive from the guest house).
