As a frequent flyer can you imagine my delight when Eagle Bar Diner opened in Newcastle airport nice honest fresh food, bread and cappucinos.
The staff were very professional and friendly, good baristas making excellent coffees.
I thought it was too good to be true and I was right, the last time I was in there the coffee machine was broken, the Orange Juice was warm and the tea awful we had ordered my favourite sandwich, crispy bacon with buttered authentic ciabatta, sadly it arrived half cooked in a cheap hot, microwaved bread bun.
When I complained the waitress said 'I'm sorry we have a new chef' in a very dissappointing voice.
This place is worse than a suburban greasy Joe's hardly a New York Diner.
