Most unusual cafe I've ever been to with sofas and chairs laid out like a front room - the idea is to chat among yourselves - even total strangers! A zany idea - and yet it works - Karen will be sure to give you a warm welcome - with plenty of coffee and cake treats going, a lovely place to take a breather if you're in town. The cafe has a serious side too- it is very ethically aware with plenty of fair trade goodies available. Recommended.

Drop into this unique cafe for a coffee and a chat and you will always recieve a warm welcome from Gunter or Karen, the proprietors. Customers are welcomed to interact and discuss local issues or just get to know one another. There are all sorts of tasty treats available to tempt you. This is a 'Fair Trade' community cafe. Wherever possible things are locally sourced and ever effort has been made to accommodate dietary requirements. My wife and I highly recommend you check out this unique cafe in the heart of Shepton Mallet. Tell Gunter and Karen the Vicar sent you!

Coffee is always excellent and freshly brewed, tea is also excellent. Everything is Fair trade and/or locally sourced and the Chocolate Brownies mmm, you have to taste them. If you have allergies or intolerances they can probably accommodate you. Gunter and Karen are excellent hosts, promote local businesses and were a major part of the successful Collett Festival this year. Visit them soon!
