I made a last minute booking for a business trip as I had meetings at the local Mendip Council offices which are just down the road so location was perfect. The B&B was highly recommended a friend who stays there regularly and as she was there on the same night we sat in the cosy lounge with a bottle of wine after the lovely dinner. Room was beautiful and even though it had a double and single bed in was a good size. Nice that there wasn't a surcharge for single occupancy. Breakfast was lovely and the owners can't do enough to please. Would certainly stay there again if I have ot go to this area. I may even book it for a little holiday break in the summer as it's in a very quiet but central location for sightseeing.

We stayed here on the second night of a road trip to the south west and found it to be a welcoming, comfortable and friendly place to stay. Our hosts were incredibly warm and helpful and the experience was great. The location was perfect for stopping off on our way from Bath and gave us easy access to Glastonbury and to the Haynes Motor Museum the next day as well as being a short walk into the nearest town, it was also nestled on the edge of a beautiful bit of countryside which we explored. Breakfast was tasty and filling and I would happily return again.

I came here when it first opened and had a lovely stay, I'm looking forward to visiting again soon! The view from my room was lovely and it was a pleasure to wake up and look out of the window! The breakfast was also lovely and a great start to the day! This B&B is very well priced and well worth a visit!

Stayed for 3 nights whilst attending a conference at Bath and West Show Ground (approx 2.5 miles away). I had been intending to stay at a 'hotel' very close to the show ground but on the spur of the moment thought I'd look for somewhere more homely. I am so pleased that I was fortunate enough to get a room at Middleton House. Gill and Kevin are such lovely people. It was wonderful to stay somewhere where you actually feel cared for by people who enjoy what they are doing.

We stayed for one night en route from Bath to Cornwall in July '12. Our room had a great open aspect view over countryside complete with resident cows. The double room with en suite was clean and tidy throughout and well worth the money we paid. We liked some of the little touches including useful information about where to eat in the area. The B&B is a short walk from the town centre and in a quiet area and easy to park up. Our hosts Gill and Kevin were lovely being welcoming, friendly but not intrusive. The breakfast was really nicely prepared with plenty of choice and local produce offered. Overall we were very happy and would return if we were in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Gill and Kevin made our stay really special. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the breakfasts, using good quality and local products, were superb. Lots of extra touches, including fresh milk for the coffee in your room. We all felt most welcome. The views were lovely and, while on the edge of town with local faciities near at hand, you actually felt part of the surrounding countryside. Thoroughly recommended.

I stayed at Middleton house this summer while visiting the UK from New Zealand. Gill and Kevin are friendly hosts with plenty of local infomation. The accomodation is of a high standard with excellent facilities .The location is peaceful, overlooking the countryside yet handy to local amenities. I enjoyed the fresh food available at breakfast and the generous room facilities for hot drinks and biscuits. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area for short or long stays.

Room Tip: I was able to view all the rooms and could recommend any of them
