We provide a large selection of regional speciality wines from around Italy in a small, rustic and authentic setting. Alongside the wines, our seasonally changing set menu is designed to be shared amongst the table in a traditional, rustic, family style. We take influences from all over Italy, using local, seasonal ingredients, whilst also importing fine Italian speciality products .

“Little gem on the seafront for delicious unpretentious Italian bites.”

We discovered Franco's a few weeks ago and have been there now for both takeaway and eat in pizza. The pizza is the best we've had in the area. Very fresh ingredients and good sauce and clothing crust. Franco's menu other than the pizza changes to reflect what is available and he has a weekly homemade pasta special. There are also items that are not on the menu so be sure to ask! Franco is very friendly and attentive to our ensure we had a good dining experience. The restaurant is small with about five tables, definitely a no frills delicious experience. If you want alcohol it is bring your own and there is no corkage fee. Highly recommended!

My fiance and I are currently flat hunting in Brighton & Hove and we walk past this lovely and warm Italian restaurant and the owner was so friendly and accomodating, helping us in our search...... food wise I had I a quattro fromaggi even though I am pregnant the owner manage to select good selection on cheese so I can enjoy my pizza.... how thoughful of him, my fiance had another made with Chorizo and the Lasagna come with foccacia on the side - the food was simply delicious, well prepared and very well presented, we definitely found our little gem, the best Italian meal I ever had, the food really high quality and service, simpy outstanding food served at very good rates with high quality, great for family, couple friends, solo....... highly recommend this place to everyone, you won't be dissapointed - Great value and really all have to try Franco's delish food!!!

Best of luck to Franco and well done!

“Don't Walk past! It's good!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2013

It would be so easy to walk past this place because it is not the snazziest setting ever, and not the best locaion either, but that would be a big mistake. It is a gem. We were looking for decent pizza in a quietish setting for not a fortune, and that is exactly what we got.

Very relaxed, very friendly, very likeable place with a lovely owner. At the moment it is BYO which makes it a total bargain, but they will have a licence soon. (It will still be really good value as the pizza's are very well-priced for the quality).

But most importantly from a foodie's point of view, the pizza was really good. Not pretencious, but good.

Chuffed to have found it, and hope lots of other people will too! We will definitely be going back.

“Genuine authentic Italian food at its best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

The menu is standard. The food is WAY ABOVE standard. I visited with an Italian, it made him home sick. Ask for anything( even off the menu ) it's a no problem. Needs an alcohol licence as soon as possible, so we can enjoy limoncello after with a coffee.
Overall a very good place to eat with good prices. Watch this place, it will become very popular.
Congratulations to the chef and the staff.
I'll be back

“Very Freindly Service and Free Starter”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

I live around the corner and went to check out this new restaurant. We had bread and olives as free appetisers with a range of olive oils to choose from. The pizzas are all handmade, delicious and very reasonably priced from £7-£9. You take your own alcohol so it works out a very cheap and satisfying meal.
