A small Thai/oriental supermarket with a 'mom and dad' restaurant setup out the back. There are many versions of the menu as well as specials all over two walls. Food is plain home-cooking and is authentic and extremely tasty. Have eaten similar tasting food in Chiangmai and Phuket. It is a bit in and out and gets very busy. Even stranger there is a chain Thai restaurant opposite and another Thai restaurant next door as well as another chain place 300 yards down the road. The price here is substantially lower than all of these. NB cash only. We have been going here for lunch and early dinner for more than ten years and always good

I absolutely LOVE this place! Totally authentic (in atmosphere and menu). Really reminds me of the Thai restaurants in Thailand and the food is TOP NOTCH. I'd come here for lunch and dinner. (Maybe even breakfast too!)

Went there today for the first time, had Singapore noodles..(I know...not Thai) however portion was a decent size but very little pork and the tiniest tiniest little shrimp in it and no heat at all..so good flavour but minimal of the expensive ingredients, the so called shrimp were a joke much much smaller than my little fingernail..obviously / frozen/ tinned.. and pork meat again tiny tiny pieces, and not much of them...just short of 10 quid...ok but definitely not "Great!"

This is a great place for down to earth every day eating. No great frills which add to the charm. The price cannot be beaten and the staff are very friendly. You can take your own alcohol and without asking the bottle opener and glasses will appear. This is not a place where you can go and spend the whole lunch time. It is amazing value good food where you eat and move on to make space for the queue of people to have their turn. Take away is also good and fast. If you have been to Thailand and want the street food experience come here.
