We stayed at The Olive Tree apartment for a weekend in August and had a wonderful time. The owners were very responsive in communication and had thought of everything you could need within the apartment!
Everything was very clean, with lovely decor and comfortable beds. I especially loved the cabinet in the kitchen filled with English China! A lovely touch.
And ending the day with a glass of wine in the secluded courtyard was perfect.
The apartment is also in a great location - 2min walk to the sea front and lots of good coffee shops, restaurants and pubs nearby.
We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and will hopefully be visiting again sometime soon!
Highly recommend a stay at the Olive Trees. The situation of the apartment is only a 2 minute walk from the beach front (great breakfast at the cafe there). On arriving at the apartment you will find the keybox by front door which is great for a convenient arrival time. The outside area boasts two lovely Olive Trees along with table and chairs and a lovely little space for extra seating if required. On entering the apartment you have a good size porch then into a lovely open plan sitting room with one step into a very modern and well equipped kitchen..the little home comforts make it feel very welcoming there is a selection if games and books for you to use for the duration of your stay along with music and a good size tv on the wall. There is also a very good selection of information including maps and places if interest..Highly recommend going to the Brighton Pavillion)..The kitchen is Lovely and modern with everything you need and more along with a welcome pack which is useful especially if arriving late. Along the hall you will find the very spacious main bedroom with plenty of cupboard and drawer space there is also a door which leads out to a lovely quirky secluded seating area..Along the hall the bathroom offers all amenities with bsth abd overhead shower with quality towels and mats. The second twin bedroom again is spacious and lovely large windows looking out to the courtyard.
Would highly recommend a stay here as the owners have thought of everything along with lovely touches.
Thank you again and well done formaking my stay pleasurable. I will certainly be booking again.
My girlfriend and I stayed at The Olive Tree Apartment for a few days this summer. As it was our first visit to Hove we wanted to be nearby to the beach and also to the local bars and restaurants for a night out - this place was perfect, just a few minutes walk to either!
The flat was great, comfortable and with lots of space. It’s also quietly tucked away from the Main Street so no noise whatsoever. There’s a nice patio to relax in at the front, as well as in the back too. I didn’t spend much time inside the flat, but I noticed that there’s a huge TV in the lounge and plenty of space to cook in the kitchen if you needed to. We hope to stay a bit longer next time.
Overall it was exactly what we were looking for and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of the best bits of Hove.
The apartment was spacious, light and airy with plenty of room for a family, offering its own private entrance along with a porch for buggies, coats and shoes! It was just the two of us on this occasion and with the enormity of space inside, we even stayed in one evening and enjoyed a bottle of wine!
The garden is well considered, with plants, fairy lights and chairs - a perfect place for an evening drink or a morning coffee. The kitchen looked very new and was well supplied with cooking utensils, cups, wine glasses etc. The decor was modern and subtle, with homely finishes such as plants, vintage tea cups and beautiful lamps in the master bedroom. The bedding was very good quality too and towels that were nice and thick! A must!
The apartment feels very homely and certainly embraces the relaxed vibe of the immediate area. Quaint coffee shops and bakeries, a friendly pub with a nice big garden just a 5 minute walk away and various eateries settled along the main streets. Hove is a nice retreat from the main, sometimes over-crowded centre of Brighton, offering all the amenities with independents you'll find in the local area.
The beach is also very nearby, simple walk by turning left out of the apartment! We took advantage of the picnic hamper and enjoyed a lunch by the sea.
Very competitive prices when you compare with the cost of B&B's in Brighton, often offering a small room that you simply come and go from.
Very much enjoyed our stay! - We will be back!
