We loved it and are going back there in January - along with our two Jack Russells.
The food was amazing and the bar and decor most attractive and welcoming, especially the big real fire in the main bar.
We particularly liked the large triptych photograph of nearby Walberswick Beach in the bright and airy restaurant, taken bv the local photography company, Coastal Studios. So much so that we've had one made for our lounge at home.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Swan Room and it was lovely.

A last minute decision to visit Suffolk meant we booked the last available room. As anticipated quite small (Robin) but very comfortable. Service from the staff was second to none. Booked DBB which was tremendous value. Really enjoyed the Inn to Inn walk and the Adnams. Will definitely return.

Stayed one night at this lovely pub.Great room very clean and comfortable.Even though we were on the ground floor on the main road very quiet and relaxing as this pub is situate in a lovely peaceful spot.Ate in the restaurant and the food was outstanding and very reasonable.Great base for exploring the beautiful Suffolk countryside.Close to Southwold, Aldeburgh, Dunwich and Snape Maltings all well worth a visit.Highly recommended.

My stay here was excellent, me and my girlfriend spent 2 nights here. We arrived and were checked into our room 2 hours early. We were shown to our room, which seemed to be fine, clean and tidy, but a little on the small side. (It was one of the out building rooms). I then approached a lady at the reception, and asked if it was ok if we changed, At no extra cost, we were UPGRADED all the way to the BEST room !! (Swan) . This was apparently where Kate and William spent a couple of nights , and has a bath in the bedroom!
Great breakfast , great dinner in the restraunt, great service and overall a great hotel with plenty to do in surrounding areas. WE WILL BE RETURNING !

A huge thankyou to all the staff at the Westleton Crown for making our stay special.

Room Tip: Choose the better or best if you'd like a little extra luxury. Normal rooms are on the smaller s...

]Whilst staying with friends in Suffolk we went to the Westleton for an evening meal, we had previously stayed here for 2 nights earlier in the year and fell in love with the place!
I feel it is reasonably priced for accommodation in the area, room was very clean and cosy, the breakfast was lovely, we very much enjoyed our meal and loved the ambience of the conservatory. If you want a warm comfortable stay in a beautiful area of Suffolk I would really recommend this Hotel. We enjoyed it so much we have already re-booked to stay again with friends and family.

This was my first stay at the Westleton, and as I will need to stay many more nights in the local area for work reasons during the next few months, I will definitely choose this hotel.

The staff were mainly very helpful and friendly. Only one waitress in the restaurant that was slightly off, but the bar man was extremely helpful and let me try a local gin for free before I ordered it and told me how it was made which I really appreciated.

The bar is fantastic. Loads of space, open fires and dogs welcome which was nice. A really country pub feel.

The restaurant is a lovely space, lots of room between tables, nice music and ambience. I have to say I was slightly disappointed with my main course as it was barely warm but this was quickly rectified when I told a waiter. The deserts were fantastic. Breakfast the next morning was sublime, such a great choice of dishes and served quickly and efficiently which is important when you need to get on with the working day.

The rooms are 10/10. Cosy, comfortable, the beds are perfect and have thick plump feather pillows that don’t sink. The bathroom was great with a huge roll top bath which filled in under 5 minutes. Cant fault it.
