Situated near the entrance to the De Kempervennan CentreParcs just south of Eindhoven we called into this restaurant for a taste of a traditional Dutch Pancake House after driving past it most days and being curious.
The interior was decorated in a fun and interesting way - perfect for children of all ages. It had bright welcoming décor with toys both as part of the decoration (frogs, sunflowers and butterflies on the ceiling and a toy train driving round the top of the room to name but a few things) and also for children to play with inside while visiting. There was a great outdoor enclosed children's play area with slides and climbing frames which our children (3 and 5 yr old) loved.
The welcome and service was warm and friendly and the waitress spoke excellent English and seemed genuinely interested in our trip.
The food was of excellent quality and great value for money - very big portions so our children could have shared a pancake. The children's pancake is topped with Smarties and they get a token to spend on a small toy of their choice from the varied selection on offer.
We had a wonderful experience here and is a real gem - we are only sorry we discovered it on the last day of our holiday or we would have definitely been back!
