I arrived in Deurne railway station on a wet Saturday afternoon in mid-June and had difficulties working out where the hotel was. It's quite a walk! But it's worthwhile. It's situated in the old market place oppposite the Stadhuis (Town hall). It was a cigar factory at one stage and it has been tastefully refurbished to provide excellent accommodation.
The restaurant and bar are at the front of the property and the hotel is towards the rear.
The rooms are spotless and spacious though maybe a touch expensive for somewhere so far off the beaten track. I paid €99 a night at the weekend.
The restaurant menu is quite odd - not really to my taste - but each to his own. Service, however, is firstclass.
