It wasn't the 1st time that we stayed in this hotel. In Sept 2011 we stayed 1 night (last minute) and we got the smallest room they had available. In order to avoid this I booked the "Panorama rooms" at EUR 110 per night.
The hotel's location is perfect - from the terrace, restaurant and Panorama rooms you have a beautiful view over the hills.
The hostess is very hospitable, she remembered me from the previous visit and she is genuinely interested. We had dinner and the quality is perfect. The wines are also very nice. Breakfast is also fine.
The only negative for me, which is the most important, are the beds. In the room we had 2 separate beds, not very cosy and the mattrass & boxspring are really soft. On the 1st night, after being in bed for half an hour, I put my mattrass on the floor. On the 2nd night we had both mattrasses on the floor. It didn't help that much because they are so soft...
For me this is a reason not to go to this hotel anymore, unless they get us a room that has better beds.
And the walls are quite thin. I could hear my neighbour's toilet visit in the morning...More
