Loved it!

Very charming hotel in the middle of the Swiss Alps and on the lake. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was very good as well... Surprising... But good.

I was only here one night during a tour, but I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone working at the hotel was very nice, and accommodating. My only complaint is that it is on the side of the road, and you can hear and see cars speeding by. The main attractions are a short drive away as well.

Would definitely stay here again!

We spent two nights at this hotel as part of our tour. We loved the views from both sides of the hotel - one of the Lake Lucerne and the other of the mountainside complete with content grazing cows. Had our meals in the hotel and they were completely adequate. Nice clean rooms. Went for a lovely long walk after dinner - the surroundings are beautiful. A downside may be that the hotel in sandwiched between two roads, which could be a bit noisy.

Stopped here for our lunch during our trip to France. Our order was not too special (Spaghetti, Bratwurst and 2x kids menu), but although it wasn't very busy our order took atleast 50 minutes to arrive. Just before it arrived the waitress came to tell us that one of the kids menu's wasn't available and asked if it could be the same as the other one. Just after our confirmation 3 meals arrived. After atleast 10 minutes the last meal arrived. The spaghetti was really simple and the bratwurst was aweful. That in combination with the high prices makes this a place we will never come again.

The hotel was out of the way but worth it! the views were Beautiful and a lake nearby. No air condition but fans in the rooms. The weather was ok with no air, cool at nights!
No free Wi Fi.
Bathroom was nice and big with a tub you could swim in, but no shower curtain.

Room Tip: NICE BIG ROOMS!!!!! Beautiful views! 5 min walk to lake to swim.

A view of Lucerne Lake with the mountains was picture perfect! We had the corner suite with an elegant spacious bathtub, with a separate powder room and a kitchen! Some of the people in our tour came over and said that the suite had a log cabin feel to it. Expensive but worth every penny! You can walk across the street from the hotel and take a short walk down hill to the lake shore and feed the swans!! Some of us stayed by the lake and were in awe of how beautiful Lucerne lake really is. You feel welcomed with the people waving from their boats and the Swiss speak fluent English so you will have absolutely no trouble getting around. Overall a big thumbs up for food ( a bit slow on the service but delicious swiss cuisine) and rooms are cosy. You don't need aircondition because of the breeze from the lake and mountains. I had a good nights sleep for several days and the weather was perfect in July.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the lake and the corner suite if possible. After long hours on the road a relaxing room by the lake with a bathtub to relax in is perfect for any traveller (comfortable bed and pillows is a must). I loved our family trip to Switzerland the most!
