Lovely hotel, its a little bit tired but very clean. Staff / owners were terrific & it is great value for money. Secure underground parking about 100 metres away which wasn't a problem. Food was typical regional cuisine & very nice. Not a problem with the measures for drinks. We had a great evening there with some German biker's who were also staying there. Definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

On our way in the Pyrenees we reached the beautiful town Vielha. Looking for a place to stay for the night we found this hotel.
It was recommended by other tourists so we decided to stay there for the night.
Being two couples we took two rooms.
We stayed on the fourth floor.
The hotel was nice .
Seems like a family hotel.
The rooms were clean and spacious.
The breakfast was disappointing.
Its location wad great.

The hotel is located on the main street of town, so moving around on foot is no problem (it's even recommended as traffic sometimes is rather heavy).

The lobby is loaded with an endless number of things, ranging from an early model telephone and typewriter to local goods and art. The result is an overwhelming collection that gives a rather good vibe.

The room we got was small; very small (for us, at least). The walls are about ½ a meter from each side of the bed. The room had one small window, overlooking another wall.

Otherwise, the room is well maintained.

My friend and I booked a room here and liked it so much that we decided to stay a second night. The location is perfect -- right in the middle of everything, and it's all walkable. There is a large parking lot for the town about 4-5 blocks from the hotel so the hotel does not have parking on-site. (It's best to unload your luggage and then park). The wifi from our room was not great but it's fine from the lobby. I did not go to the spa areas but my friend did. He did not stay long as the water was not super warm, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the water in our shower was only lukewarm (and it was chilly outside so that didn't help!). For those of you from the U.S. or Britain, I only encountered one staff who spoke English, but we were able to get by via hand signals when necessary. The room was cozy and clean, and our street facing room was quiet. For 50 Euros a night, I would DEFINITELY recommend this place!

Room tip: We stayed in room 211 with no problems or issues.

We had a really quick stay there, just one night, late-ish arrival and very early check out. No opportunity to eat or use any facilities apart of the room.

My first impressions were very positive - loved the location and cute decor. The price was very affordable, the room spacious and clean. Our only issues were due to the lack is staffing on reception. In the evening, when we returned after dinner, we couldn't get in - the door was locked (it wasn't even that late) and nobody told us the code to get in whenwe were checking in. Luckily, a guest was walking past reception (closed) and heard us knocking.

Then in the morning we needed to leave promptly to catch a ferry back to the UK - but the reception was still closed, and they had our passports! We called the emergency phone number, after a while a sleepy night guard came down, still couldn't find the passports, couldn't get hold of ather receptionist, we waited for about 50 minutes and got really stressed out, never mind having to floor it all the way to Santander and not being able to stop for breakfast. Perhaps it's better in the high season but they are pretty dormant in summer.
