While visiting Costa Brava in Spain, we had lunch at this wonderful, quaint restaurant that specializes in salted cod. I was reluctant to try it until I was told that it is soaked for 24 hours to remove the excess salt and then prepared in a variety of different ways. The three of us shared about 6 or more different cod dishes, among other things, and each of them were superb! The wine list was extensive as well. There were many other choices for those who are not cod fans, but I would bet you'd become one after a visit here. The church across the road adds to the lovely setting. The town of Monells is very quaint with a beautiful village square. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
