Okay seems to be the general consensus on this restaurant. We went here based on a recommendation from the desk clerk at our hotel. The sangria and grilled sardines were both somewhat disappointing, though the lightly dressed bed of salad under the sardines was a fairly nice touch. Our main courses (grilled squid and grilled hake fish (merluza) were fine, but would have been better with a few boiled potatoes instead of just salad. (Maybe I've just been spoiled by the Portuguese, but potatoes are nice with fish and make for a more complete meal). To their credit, they sent over a very nice young woman who spoke fairly fluent English once they knew we were English speaking. Service was quite welcoming and pleasant and they gave us a complimentary after dinner drink. After reading other reviews here, I'd say you could do both better and worse in Castelldefels, especially since some of the other restaurants are apparently very overpriced.
