We had spent the day at the Teguise markets and really needed to get away from the crowds - we didn't fancy anything big, and spotted the sign saying "artisan bakery" and thought 'yes please'.
We headed over, the setting inside has a lovely vintage and homely feel to it.
I had an apple & cinnamon muffin, my partner had a chocolate muffin and we got a couple of cold drinks which we much needed on such a hot day! The cakes were wonderful, the sponge was moist and full of flavour.
Behind the counter was a wide range of sweet and savoury treats as well as fresh bread and pastries which all looked delightful. The smell while we were in there was great.
The lady behind the counter was very friendly and there really was a very welcoming atmosphere to the place which I found to be quite comforting.
As we were readying ourselves to leaves, we did spot someone having a hot chocolate and must say, this looked heavenly - we wished we'd orderer one ourselves!!!! Essentially warm milk and a cup full of chocolate buttons which melted as you stirred them in YUM!
