Had a sharing platter that included olives, patatas arrugadas, red and green mojo sauces, three types of cheese and a chickpea stew. Also had a chorizo dish with salad. Really loved the food and all the staff were very happy and friendly.

Tapas sharing platters are great but the burgers are better! 11.95 with homemade chips. Very helpful staff, after asking what kind of wine we liked brought 2 samples for us to try and choose from.

The only down side was that not enough bread was served with the tapas so we had quite a lot of tapenade, hummus etc left over. We ordered extra bread which was overpriced at 3 Euros for a few small slices, hopefully they'll review this.

Having read about this restaurant and following them on Facebook we decided we would make a trip to Teguise for lunch. We had the Canarian sharing platter & a portion of chorizo in cider. Wow! All beautifully presented on wooden boards. Washed down with a bottle of Bermejos white wine - one of our favourites. I was determined to have one of Zoe's chocolate brownies but was too full to fit in dessert so I had one to takeaway for later. It was delicious one for serious chocolate lovers. They have a great little deli as well where we made some purchases. Great place we'll be back at Christmas.

We've visited Famara/Teguise several times and La Cantina was the best food we've had so far. I recommended the steak but the tapas plates looked lovely and great value.
Also, free wifi which doesn't hurt.

Stopped initially for a coffee. From the outside it is a terrace bar with the equivalent of a small deli. There is so much more lots of eating areas and the secret garden. Decided to have some tapas and everything comes on boards. Portions are much bigger than normal tapas and very good value. The chocolate brownie deserves specific mention a dish not to be missed. All done with style and efficiency all the staff appeared to know exactly what they were doing which is why there was a constant stream of people eating and drinking. Great place for a quick lunch or a get together.
