This is a 3 bedroomed villa - 1 double and 2 twins with ample clothing storage, bedding for all seasons, and comfortable clean beds. All towels and linen, including sun towels, were provided.
The villa is in the sun all day facing south, and from the upstairs balcony and some parts of downstairs, there are partial views of the sea and Fuerteventura. Our visit was mid-March for 10 days and the weather was mainly sunny with bit of patchy cloud, and in the low 20s degrees Celsius temperatures. In the evening when the sun went down around 7ish temperatures cooled but in the Villa remained warm. A heater was in a cupboard but wasn't needed, and there were plenty of fans for when it gets warmer. There were some strong winds during our stay, but as the villa is walled, these were reduced to a nice gentle breeze while sunbathing at the pool.
The kitchen was well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery, fridge freezer, and a separate outside yard contained a washing machine and clothes line/airer. Outside there was also a barbeque, dining table and chairs and six sun loungers.
The lounge was comfortable with a large dining table, 2 sofas, TV and DVD player, and in the cupboard were some books to read.
The villa itself is ideally located. A 2-3 minute walk you'll find an outside public gym, and within 5 mins walk the Av de Papagayo, with the Commercial shopping Centre and Playa Dorada beach in front of you. The commercial centre contains 3 supermarkets, takeaway restaurants, Italian, Indian & English restaurants and some Irish bars. The centre was relatively quiet.
Also on the Av de Papagayo and again within 5 mins is the start of the road into the centre with multiple restaurants - Italian, local Canarian tapas, Chinese and tourist shops. This road leads to the main shopping area and harbour with local seafood restaurants, steak houses etc. which is 10-15 mins pleasant walk from the Villa.
On Weds and Saturdays is the local market in the Marina Rubicon which is a nice 25 min walk along the promenade, with lots of photo opportunities of the beautiful scenery. The Marina again is very picturesque with lots of restaurants and higher end shops. The market had lots of nice local stalls and is well worth a visit - get there early if you're not a fan of crowds.
On arrival we chose SunTransfers to transfer us following TripAdvisor recommendations and they were fantastic, before we arrived in ensuring that they had the right address, and being on time and courteous with nice drivers and minibus.
We called Gina from Country Villas (who manage the property) when we left the airport and she met us at the Villa with an unexpected welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. She showed us around the apartment to make sure we knew where everything was and offered to help during our stay, and checked in on us when she was checking new guests into the complex - thank you for your help Gina.
Cleaners came half way through to change towels and bedding and the pool man came several times to ensure the pool stayed clean.
We loved our holiday in Playa Blanca and in 12a Villa Nohara, and will definitely be recommending this to our family and friends, and will be looking to return for Winter sun in future years.
