Fantastic views from the top, even the grandchildren enjoyed the climb. The landscape is very barren, but still a lot of greenery coming through. It changes every year, and to watch the sunset from the top is a picture.

If your kids are studying volcanoes then this is ideal as you get a great idea of what the volcano would have looked like alive. you can walk up to the ridge and down into the crater. Be sure to wear suitable shoes for the rough terrain. Wonderful views from the top.

We stayed at the Hotel Corbeta roughly 1/2 mile from this rather prominent landmark, so decided to climb it on one of the cooler days of our stay. The climb isn't particularly strenuous and the views from the top are absolutely fantastic! Well worth a climb!

We were staying at the Natura Gardens right below the volcano and as it was an ever-present backdrop, it had to be scaled. I went up towards the end of the evening after the heat of the day had passed and sunset approached. It only took 25 minutes to climb up there but I'm up & down big mountains all the time. Allow 45 if you want to enjoy it and another 30 to walk round the crater.

Great views and a decent walk but there isn't a great deal of geological interest.

Beautiful views! Very recommended to go up with segway, its a challenge and adventure. There's one company in Playa Blanca that offers great tours! Just did it-very happy with it!
