We have just returned from a most enjoyable holiday in this hotel which ticks every box
The food and entertainment was very good
Hotel was extremely clean always
The accomadation in bungalows ws excellent beds and pillows were soft and towels bright white and new and the cleaning was done six days in each week.
I would like to thank the management and Yan at the bar Aziz in the restaurant also Bram and Gabriel from the annimation team
Athough there where some children there was never any noise lovely and quiet at night.
We hope to visit again.

Room Tip: All the bungalows are easily accessible to the amenities

arrived at 9pm on sunday with jet2 holidays, had dinner straight away,
hotel very clean throughout- lovely bungalows- better choice than a hotel room gives you more freedom !!

loved the food with varied options most days-ALWAYS DECENT MEATS AND COOKED!

loved having a full english every morning!

decent choice of drinks and cocktails with the all inclusive option.

beach towels and tv remote are available with a refundable deposit.

loved the landscaped gardens, bird aviary and swimming pools,

water park is 10 mins walk away and decent slides!

the town centre was 15 mins walk or 4-5 euro in a taxi which can be booked at reception- i would recommend doing this to get your essentials as the onsite shop is a little pricey- decent shops in playa blanca- quite a few chinese shops selling novelty items-handbags-belts caps etc-- always barter them down and you can get a good deal!

i would definetley go back again!

Room Tip: we stayed in room 1161 which is a 2 bedroom bungalow and we was able to pick up the next hotels wifi...

Hotel Rio Playa Blanca was a really nice hotel. The food was amazing with a large selection of dishes. Furthermore, the pool was clean too. The apartments were big and clean regularly and had lots of space. The hotel was near to the beach and the town centre. The staff were friendly and was very well managed. I would recommend the hotel to everyone who is interested going to Lanzarote and hopefully will return soon!

Pleasant reception, good food and a relaxed atmosphere all contributed to a good week spent here. We were two adults and two young teenage children and found the accommodation fitted our needs most of the time. Daily cleaning was efficiently carried out. Older teenagers and young adults might find the location a little staid - Playa Blanca itself was a brisk fifteen minutes walk away where there was more going on. The "chalets" could have done with a kettle - the lack of a decent cup of tea for a week was the biggest moan as the tea bags in the restaurant weren't up to much. We went all inclusive and found that this really suited us - other options are available.
Some of the games around the pool, e.g. bar football are not included and were 1 euro a pop.

We have just returned from a week with our teenage daughters. We were very pleased that on arrival at 9pm we were sent down for dinner straight away. The accommodation was clean and spacious, we were only there to sleep and shower so perfectly fine, good private terrace, only downside was no kettle. The reception, bar and restaurant staff were friendly and the animation team great fun, we had a go at shooting and joined in a couple of the games in the bar at night. The restaurant got a little busy the first day we were there but I assume this was because of Easter departures/arrivals overlapping, after that we had no problems. The food was very good lots of fresh salad, fruit and vegetables, different meat and a fish dish every day, lovely breads and cake. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Pools were good, one heated more that the other so great for kids. We would definately go back with the kids.

We arrived at teatime and after throwing our cases in the room went for tea.when we first checked in the hotel staff seemed really nice and the reception area was clean.tea wasn't much so we expected it to get better over the 2 week period we were staying for. But we was wrong most of the meats at tea were raw and the meals never changed much every night so we ended up having chips for two weeks!! At breakfast the dining room would shut at bang on 10 o'clock as the lights would be switched of the curtains would be shut and all the utensils would be taken away even though there was still people eating! Dinner was the best meals they had.also in the dining area you don't get shown to your seat and the staff are always very eager to take your plates and cutlery away but they're ways dropping plates all the time!! As we we were a family of 4.2 adults and 2 children we had 2 bungalows joined to each other by a door which meant we had 2 kitchens 2 living rooms 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms which was really good as it gives you more space.the maids work everyday apart from Fridays. And only change the bedding once a week! They never give you toilet roll which resulted in us finding our own.the bins under our sinks never got emptied nor did our ashtray outside.there are 3 pools.a cold pool a warm pool and a baby pool.also theres a supermarket , park and a pool bar in the hotel.another problem was that you have to walk miles away from the hotel if you like going out on an evening as all the pubs, shops and restaurants are on the seafront. There's entertainment in the complex every night which is suitable for children mostly under 8.this holiday wasn't for us and we won't be returning back to this part of lanzarote again

My Husband and I just returned from staying here with 2 teenage sons, the facilities were excellent, we had a very spacious 2 bedroomed 2 bathroomed bungalow, the all inclusive option is one of the best ones we have ever been too.The location is close to the beach.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The food was good , with plenty of choice.
My sons had plenty to do,. even though they had no x box, the entertainment was excellent.
We will be returning next year.
