we have just returned from Rio Playa Blanca hotel. It was an excellent week and we are booking again for next year.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were excellent. We originally booked half bored but soon realised on arriving that it was going to be better to pay the suplement for all inclusive. We upgraded for 100 euros but it was well worth it. The food was superb and plentiful, and the drinks were not just local ones, we had all the decent brands and were even offered cocktails.
The only down side was the entertainment, This was done by the people who ran the kids club and i sometimes thought i was in the hi di hi holiday camp. One of the evening entertainments was a singer who was so full of himself and bad we just laughed all the way through. It was a shame as this was the only thing that let the hotel down.
I would certainly recommend this hotel for a lovely quiet holiday with great food and lovely surroundings.More
