“Best cup of coffee in the whole of Playa Blanca!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2014

This lovely wee cafe is immaculate, just up from the roundabout on the road behind the promenade (opposite the Blue something dive centre if you want to be more specific!) It is clean, the smell of the home made cakes and savouries were mouthwatering but as I am coeliac I could not eat them...but they did have prepackaged GF biscuits so I could at least have something whilst my friends tucked into freshly baked goods :-( The coffee is italian and made just as I liked it, even extra hot. It comes, as it does in Italy with a small shot glass of cold water and the waiter (who also worked in our hotel bar in the evenings :-) ) and the lovely waitress both speak perfect English and are polite and courteous. The prices are unbelievably low, and we drank coffees and soft drinks in many places so had a good comparison. Even the fresh squeezed orange juice is cheaper than anywhere else we ate at. Once we found it we visited, and sat and chatted without being rushed away, every day. Definitely go find it. You wont regret it. We will be back next year. p.s. Emmanuel did say if i gave them notice they would get in gluten free bread to make me something but two lattes hit the spot without needing that :-D

“what a little gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

this little cafe had the nicest coffee that we tried, and had an array of savoury and sweet pastries and sandwiches all made on the premises all very yummy and very cheaply priced( under priced in my opinion),they provided free wifi and never did they ever try and rush you out.

“This Crema of Cafe Bars, sets the standards.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013

Run by a local Spanish family, the young (Daughter) smiling and very helpful waitress is the glittering star of this clean and well organised eatery. (I believe it used to be the 'El Cafe' prior to 'Cappucino' with different owners). They offer a wide variety of tasty freshly made sandwiches and rolls, various savoury and pizza slices, tortillas and salads, scrummy cakes and tartas, ice creams and just about the best coffee in Playa Blanca. The 'old man' Father, oversees the proceedings, but gets flustered when trying to operate the 'techno-till' but make no mistake, the multi-talented little waitress is the motivator and dynamo of this lovely little Gem!
