First time visit to Lanzarote having been to Dubai for the last 3 years for winter sun and fun. This holiday was perfect for the weather, climate and location. Villa was just as described and the owner and her support crew have a high degree of communication whenever you need them. A car is needed if you want to use the Villa for dining in and using the local supermarkets (Hypo Dino is the best even though it's no where near as good as a Western Supermarkets ) Best beach if you want local amenities including a fantastic bar, sun beds and car parking Costa Dorado is the one. However, if you want views and a taste of the real South coast (Be prepared to lie on your on your towel and take your own drinks) then head for Costa Papagawo. Fantastic booking and a must visit destination if you want value for money winter sunshine
Location was very quiet and peaceful as it was in a residential area.
The villa was well equipped and maintained .
There was always somebody available if required.
Pool and pool area was were lovely and enjoyed by the whole family.
On the whole a throughly enjoyable family holiday.
I would recommend it.
This villa is much loved by everybody who have stayed in it, I can be sure. Everything is well looked after. It has absolutely everything, and then more. It has all the things you would need, most of the things you would want (such as board games, water guns, floats, coals for the BBQ, some DVDs, some computer games, etc.). In fact, I and my son think it is a treasure island. So if you can find availability, don't hesitate. The heated pool is truly heated, and this is the first time I can get into a pool in Canaries Islands at this time of the year. Beds are really comfortable, the living room is bright and roomy, kitchen is well equipped (too well if you ask me). The villa is bigger than it looks on the photo.
If you don't have a car (like us), it is very easy to get to Playa Dorada (which I consider the center of Playa Blanca) from the villa on foot: just turn right, then left, then walk until you see the sea in front of you (when the road stops, just take the footpath next to the princess yaiza hotel. The walk is about 30 minutes (or a little bit more or less, we don't really mind). You can always take a taxi back for EUR3-EUR4 from the town centre. Getting a taxi from the villa is also easy, just call the taxi company, and one will appear within 10 minutes.
Just spent a relaxing week at Three Palms Villa. It was very well equipped and comfortable. Lovely private pool and outside space. A car is not essential but really useful. Playa Blanca is a great resort with lots of great restaurants, bars, and shops within a 20 minute walk. Can't wait to return.
