This was my third visit to this restaurant and despite them dropping our 'ticket' and having to wait a wee while this did not spoil our visit in the slightest and they were very apologetic. They also ended up sending an extra tapas we had not ordered by mistake but it looked so good we did not quibble and are glad we kept it. The portions are of a good size despite it being tapas and we shared 6 dishes between 3 of us and it was a very filling and delicious meal. It can get windy being on a corner site but the views are worth it and it's fun to watch the boats coming and going and being cleaned. We will no doubt be returning.
Potato in blue cheese sauce - my favourite
Tuna, tomato and onion salad - as described
Mixed croquettes - delicious recommend the ham ones
Prawns and mushrooms in garlic - amazingly good and has a wee bit of spice in the oil too, delicious for dipping the bread into
Grilled cheese - only got one piece of this coz when I turned back to the plate it was all gone!!
Salad cubierta (we think) - very nice mix of tuna, potato, egg, and tomato in a mayo type sauce - lovely.
In answer to another reviewers comments about them not putting the shade up when it was raining - We went in September '13 during a lightening storm and heavy rain. The screen above appeared waterproof but certainly proved not to be and it dripped water onto our table and we had to move further in from the edge. It was still an enjoyable experience for us having to move our plates around to avoid the rain drops and we ended up with water all around our feet. We were offered a table indoors but we chose to remain where we could have a good view.
