This was my third visit to this restaurant and despite them dropping our 'ticket' and having to wait a wee while this did not spoil our visit in the slightest and they were very apologetic. They also ended up sending an extra tapas we had not ordered by mistake but it looked so good we did not quibble and are glad we kept it. The portions are of a good size despite it being tapas and we shared 6 dishes between 3 of us and it was a very filling and delicious meal. It can get windy being on a corner site but the views are worth it and it's fun to watch the boats coming and going and being cleaned. We will no doubt be returning.

Potato in blue cheese sauce - my favourite
Tuna, tomato and onion salad - as described
Mixed croquettes - delicious recommend the ham ones
Prawns and mushrooms in garlic - amazingly good and has a wee bit of spice in the oil too, delicious for dipping the bread into
Grilled cheese - only got one piece of this coz when I turned back to the plate it was all gone!!
Salad cubierta (we think) - very nice mix of tuna, potato, egg, and tomato in a mayo type sauce - lovely.

In answer to another reviewers comments about them not putting the shade up when it was raining - We went in September '13 during a lightening storm and heavy rain. The screen above appeared waterproof but certainly proved not to be and it dripped water onto our table and we had to move further in from the edge. It was still an enjoyable experience for us having to move our plates around to avoid the rain drops and we ended up with water all around our feet. We were offered a table indoors but we chose to remain where we could have a good view.

Of all restaurants on Marina Rubicon this one has the best views. Located on the first floor you climb a few steps to get to it. Well worth it, view over the marina is really great and you can watch sunrise at breakfast or sunset at early dinner. The restaurant is typical espanol with pimientos padron, paella on Sunday as a special and many other delights. You can just sit on the sun terrace and take a beer or coffee which is best in Playa Blanca. They have patio heaters for those wishing to dine outside at night.

Best to stick to Spanish food, it is what they do best. Reasonably priced, great value. On changover days such as Thursday you would need to book out of season because they done have too many tables inside.

My preference is for lunch because of the views from the terrace, you really know you are on holiday here.

Superb location and very friendly staff but I did not enjoy my "English" breakfast. The eggs were still a bit runny and the sausage was far too spicy (red sausage rather than the usual kind you get elsewhere). Another of the group had apple cake which was not what she expected but still tasty. The third of the group had the club type sandwich which was also good. The coffees were excellent and the views are good.

Perfect location, perfect food, perfect drinks, perfect brothers who own the place and most importent of all - perfect tapas!! I would go back every day without looking at the menu, just ask for dinner and the two brothers will bring you heaven from the kitchen:-)

Terraza la Cubierta is located on the upper deck overlooking the marina. The views are lovely and you can sit outside or in a covered terrace if the evenings are cooler (they also have patio heaters). We ate here twice for dinner and both times the food was excellent, very generous portions, tasty and well cooked. The prices are very reasonable. I would have liked some veggies but other than that it was perfect. The staff and great, very friendly and attentive. Overall, a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
