Loved Playa Blanca, Pity we didn't get what we had paid for at H10 Timanfaya Palace Hotel. We had paid for a sea view room which we didn't get. Lots of people in the hotel were complaining about their rooms

Best to visit on Wednesday and Saturday when the market is active. Nice bars and restaurants in a lovely setting.

We popped into the Visitors centre on the way to Teguise market as I had never visited it before. Expected to take half an hour or so but was there for TWO HOURS. Admission is FREE and the Centre has exhibitions, information andfilm shows about the Volcanic history of the island. There is a sensory room with closed boxes with sounds and smells to do with the Volcanic history and the natural habitats on the Island. One box frightened the life out of my 5 year old grandson. As he opened the box a tremendous roar came out simulating a volcanic eruption! There is a huge three dimensional model of the whole island showing the occurrences and locations of the 18th Century eruptions. Not to be missed to is a simulation including sounds, smells and vibrations that the Islanders would have experienced when the eruptions occurred. It is in a darkened room with the doors locked so little uns may be a bit scared! My five year old grandson took a rain check here but my 6 year old granddaughter loved it although there was some squeezing of hands!! You can find the visitor centre on the road to Teguise. Turn left out of the Timanfaya road and it is about 15 minutes drive from there .There are toilet facilities and of course a souvenir shop. well worth a trip.

I went quadding with my 12 year old son with Lanzaroteride. Our guide was very helpful in getting us familiar with the quad, and once off the public road my son could ride as much as he wanted.
We got to see the typical moonlike landscape of Lanzarote from a new angle, and we were driving for miles along the wild atlantic coast. All very safe and exciting, and according to the abilities and wishes of the participants. Thanks for a great ride, and highly recommended!
