Hotel is a good hotel. Good entertainment but could do with more entertainment around pool like quizes.games. staff in entertainment fantastic. Reception area not as friendly a bit sour faced at times.rooms totally let it down. Far to small. Food was average.water park is good and the food is excellent here, we would go here for lunch. Beach is just minutes away and gorgeous. The town was 25 minute walk.

Room Tip: The hotel pictures are deceiving. We travelled 2 adults znd 2 kids. One bedroom the livingroom had a couch that pulled out. Far to small. The roomlets hotel down.

We have recently returned from a 2 week holiday here flying into Lanzarote on the 20th June we were a party of 4 adults and my 2 kids aged 5 and 11. On arrival around 2pm to the hotel we were informed the rooms were not ready but to go have something to eat and go back. Which was fine but then come 5pm still no room and having been up since 3am we were shattered. This however is minor but there was no apology just simply saying the rooms are really dirty. They weren't kidding! by the time we got our keys around 6:30pm they were still pretty filthy. The previous occupants old hankie lying under the bed in the living room and quite a strong smell of urine. We decided it wasn't the end of the world and I just gave the room a quick clean myself. The walls and doors were filthy but bearing in mind a lot of children pass through these rooms every few weeks this is understandable but came off with quick wipe using baby wipes. Certainly weren't issues to ruin my holiday. The food is nice with a good variety. Breakfast in particular was my favourite and the fresh breads you cut yourself are simply to die for. The waterpark food is nice too slightly more fresher and the pizza is lovely more aimed for the kids id say but again always something to choose. Self serve soft drinks (coke, dietcoke, sprite, orange,Fanta and lemon Fanta) wine (white, red and rose) and beer taps (tropical beer). The wine was nice and tasty and I was happy to drink this. they also had machines for fruit juices (apple, orange , pineapple and multi fruit) and machines for hot drinks coffee and hot chocolate ect. The swimming pool was cold but once you were in it was fine actually quite refreshing to cool off in when sunbathing and having 2 bigish ones and 1 small shallow pool they never got too busy. Only problem is getting a sunbed as they are pretty sparce and certainly not enough to go round all the guests. Its advisable to get up early and put towels on some which is apparently forbidden by the hotel but happens anyway and no one stops you so we started doing it too. Quite a lot of cigarette butts around the sunbed areas but this is just guests being inconsiderate and lazy. I think with all inclusive holidays you really are dependent on the behaviour of other guests. The first week we had no issues but the second week we found worse. There was dirty nappies lying around the pool area, used paper cups floating in the fish pond in reception and in the dining area the ice cream cabinet was pretty much trashed with people leaving whole tubs out melting as they wanted a different flavour than what was open. It only really takes a few unruly guests to do this and it starts causing problems. The dining room staff were so nice and the guy that shows you to your table works so hard yet manages to be very friendly even though he seems to be there day and night. The staff in the small supermarket and aqualava also very very nice. Reception staff seemed pretty clueless not giving accurate info but they weren't rude. The biggest issue for me was something pretty major that could have resulted in a major disaster. The animation team managed to lose my 5 year old from the kids club, he then walked himself down to the pool area where thankfully we were. They had our phone number yet it was only 2 hours later they decided to approach our bungalow to tell us he was missing. The girl from the animation team advised us she had been looking for him for over and hour which meant she must have decided to wait till kids club was over before looking for him. Simply stating she had too many kids too look after so couldn't look for him sooner! completely disgusting and only being the 2nd day meant he missed out on the kids club for the rest of the holiday. Eventually we did get an apology from her after taking the issue up with the first choice rep and the head of animation. Still we had a great holiday taking advantage of the amazing weather and the great beach which is a short 5min walk from the hotel. Kristian from the animation team was great and he seems to be the most talented of all the team ......singing in the show at night and arranging water polo for the adults in the pool during the day and always smiling. I probably would have returned to this hotel if it wasn't for the kids club issue but I felt it restricted my sons experience as I couldn't simply bear to let him go again.
I will hopefully return next year to Lanzarote but will defo try a different accommodation.

We went Here a week ago. And the food was good but the animation was super.
We have a child and she is a little bit shy. But the animation was friendly and have done a lot to entertain everybody. We have a lot of fun. And or child too. Thanks boys and girls from animation for the entertainment and the lot of fun you give us. Hope we see all of you back the next year. The food and swimmingpool was good too. We have a good holiday! just arrived back from 11 nights at the lanzasur club travelling with 2 adults, a 6yr old and 8 month old. 23rd june-4 july.
Hotel on arrival looked nice, bungalows were small but made do. travel cot for baby provided and two single beds pushed together for the 3 of us which became a pain when daughter kept falling through the middle of the bed, also if you leave anything on your bed maids wont change sheets as they not allowed to touch anything. morning after we arrived ants had attacked our tin of baby milk (aptimal comfort) frantically phoning aptimal helpline to see if I could get this brand in lanzarote. thankfully I could but paid 25 euros in the chemist in the nearby town. if you go to the chemist at the back of iberostar you'll find all the stages of aptimal in there for 17 euros we only found it cheaper in there when we had to buy a 2nd tin!!
hotel pools are cold on windy/cloudy days could be doing with a heated pool. not once did I see lifeguard sit and watch kids in pool he was always walking around outer area of pool emptying rubbish bins etc. food was good nothing special but never went hungry, waiter always found us a table quick. barman at night is always rushed off feet, people queing for drinks blocking walkways. show area could do with more seats you had to be there early to get a seat.
animation team were great seems like they work constant, my daughter loved the mini disco and we're still singing the chocolattey song lol. Christian was our favourite.
waterpark was good, lunch is much better in there, rances who works in the restaurant is very nice always has a smile. lifeguards are very strict with heights for big chutes daughter was 1.10cm, you had to be 1.20cm to go on big flumes. so she just stuck to the smaller ones and the lazy river.
playa blanca is very quiet no bars around this area. 30 min walk to next town but even there not very many bars a lot of restaurants though.
we booked texas rancho park 64 euros for 2 adults and child baby goes free, it was ok they have waterpark in there too. was something to do. also got ferry over to fuertenventura for the day that cost us 62 euros all in, seen the sand dunes and bit of shopping.
we wanted to go to oasis park over in fuert apparently the bus picks you up from hotel, then on to ferry, then once over in fuert drives to oasis park but its down south of fuert so would've been about 3 hours travelling before we got to park. didn't fancy that with baby lol. i'd have a look into that it looks amazing.
all in all it was a good holiday but definitely not worth £2000 we paid.

Room Tip: we stayed in 731 just round corner from entrance to waterpark. 800-900 numbers are closer to water park.

We visited this hotel in June 2013, me and my mum, and I have got to say that this holiday was everything that we expected and more. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the entertainers on the resort were well mannered and presented.

This hotel was also really clean, and the service was really fast, if we had a problem, it was fixed within an hour, the receptionist was great at responding to our queries also. The bar staff and restaurant staff were very polite, and the food was also very nice.

One thing I can really say about this hotel is that there wasn't enough bar staff at night, so the queue was really long, other than that this was a great holiday.
