“Friendly pub tucked away”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

Called in here late one night with family/friends ,its tucked away and not really in an ideal spot.Didnt like having to cut through and go up the steps to get to the bar its quite dark and having to walk past the strip club is a bit off putting with the kids in tow having to explain what it is ha ha .English guy who was behind bar was very nice and brilliant with the kids. Its a bit on the small side up there so not really much room for them to be running about but its an ok place to call for a few drinks as it opens late.We didnt leave til gone 1am and people were still there drinking. Not really a great place to go with children id say.

“Friendly pub off the beaten track.”
Reviewed August 2, 2014 via mobile

Our party of 6 popped in to The Nags Head for a couple of cheeky cold ones today after a Souvenir hunt.
Friendly welcome and the drinks were cold. English speaking Guvnor. Nice balcony views. Pool table.
Seek it out for a refreshing break.
Opposite the church, upstairs & next to 'Atlantico' restaurant (also worth a visit 5*).
Cheers.
