At last! After searching the area for some worthwhile musical entertainment, we finally stumbled across this place. Snappy service. Drinks measures are large and served at the table. Pricey, but they do have a three piece band playing a wide range of music. They even played some 21st century stuff! What a relief after endless 60s songs and Irish tunes played elsewhere.

We past this during the day and it look like a nice chill out bar so decided to come at night. They had a rock band on who were ok but very loud. I got the green apple cocktail which was served in a small cocktail martini style glass.... all i can say is it was pure alcohol, like turps. I had to ask for a pint glass and a sprite even then it was very strong. Other people i was with enjoyed their drinks.
17 euros for three drinks. Thought 6 pound for a vodka and coke was a bit expensive.

Jungle bar did the most amazing cocktails which we enjoyed early evening with a full sea view as the bar is located just off the beach. Very impressive. Also very good nightlife for the younger generation. Stays open very late and looked extermely lively when we passed (If only I was 10 years younger)

Came to playa blanca earlier on in year with my boyfriend was a bit dissapointed with the nightlife there was no where to go after midnight. This bar was the only place that was ok, live band waitress service and good cocktails.we ended coming to jungle bar every night after our meal on the harbour, could open a tab and pay at end, cocktails were quite pricey but sangria was good and beer ok priced. Shame it didn't get busier as people seemed to come in for one or two then leave, it says its a nightclub but after midnight all closed down maybe in peak season it gets rocking!

We have holidayed in Playa Blanca twice a year for a few years now and often stop off at either the Jungle or the Irish Bar. Both bars and the Olive Tree restaurant are all positioned next to each other and are under the same management, and are in a great location. The Irish ‘Harp’ bar has just reopened after a refit. We have always found the staff friendly and hard working, they even remember us. On this holiday we were not impressed with the big price increase, they have never been cheap bars to drink in, but this was a supprise. When we were there in October four gin & tonics were 20 euros, now 24 which is way too much when you consider the supermarkets sell a bottle of gin at 5 euros. Let’s not go mad and say the extra cost is for the entertainment, the music is ok but a bit lazy, the three musicians play both bars twice a week doing exactly the same songs, even if they are not on at one bar you can hear them in the other. We have always given the staff a good tip but at these prices it makes a night out quite expensive. I feel the management have become a little greedy and this may backfire. Many of the hotels in Playa Blanca are now all inclusive and I don’t think people will be tempted to go into bars to pay these kind of prices every night, there is a noticeable decrease already, in the past these bars were very busy but this time they were very quiet. If the economy is struggling, are exorbitant price increases the answer? In my opinion no, people will look for the best deals. Are we paying for the bar refit? A dissatisfied customer could be one lost forever, manager take note.
