There are some mixed review of this place that I really cannot fathom. This is a gem of a restaurant, small, cosy, casual, tucked away Italian amongst a crowd of Spanish tourist-style restaurants. The menu is simple as is the food, but it is truly excellent, and would rival Italian food I have eaten in rural Italy.
It is Italian run, and the owner is on hand in the restaurant. Service is excellent and friendly, a little familiar but no more than you might expect in a well run, intimate, small town Italian.
We went on several occasions and enjoyed many different dishes. The pizzas are well prepared, rustic, and fresh. The lasagne was just brilliant! Reasonable wine choice, but we found the house wines a great complement to the rustic style food.
Excellent value too. It's well worth a visit.
